Just because Reach development started in 2007, that doesn't mean Bungie couldn't have been "inspired" by any games that came out in say 2009.

Look, Halo Reach is good REGARDLESS of originality. Why obsess over originality? You should be happy Halo Reach's fun features are not so rare. Basically, you should say "GOOD, I'll play Section 8 since I liked Reach".

Graphics are similar in all these engines because they all use the same programs to make the player models and textures.... the graphics quality has to do with the time and energy the studios puts into the models and environment as well as Optimizing .... so if you wana talk about how good the graphics are give the credit to the people that took the time to make the models not the engine

All in All I think it will be a good game, I like games like this. Will go well with Halo 3 (In My Opinion). Of course I love FPS/Action Games, so all in all, if the graphics are good and gameplay is fun, and not so many ass holes online. I will love it! xD

Halo 3 doesn't suck its just very easy the auto aim is to to prevalent, the melee range is to far for the burst of speed you get to wack someone imo. the reason so many people play that game is because halo 1 was a gem on xbox and it got a fan base with is typical when its the only good fps on a system at the time.people play halo 3 because theres no learning curve pretty much anyone can get a kill which is fine bungee did the smart thing insdead of making it into an elitest game no would play

the environments on halo 3 look a lot better, trust me. yeah they used unreal engine 3 but they tweaked it. honestly, if you really have halo 3, you would be able to tell the difference quite easily. im not saying halo 3 is better in fact i happen to prefer section 8 to it, but halo 3's graphics are much better.

its very innovative imo, the setting is in future, and the Gameplay feels so, with lock on assisted aiming, and the tune ups you do in the suit.

what bothered me a lot was the rocket launcher firing unguided ordinance, and the shotgun and Sniper Rifle being so underpowered.

That sprint thingie is whole lotta fun, and if you stumble on someone in its last legs you finish him, or in normal circunstances you take out his shield.
