The 10-02 is about 8% of ANWR's total area. 2000 acres is less than .01% of ANWR's total area. Like thats going to destroy the refuge! Right sure. Reford instead supports millions of solar panels and wind mills to chop up birds and cover our "pristine" desert. I'll bet a few greenies have problems with that too! NIMBY Hypocrites!

I'm in ANWR nearly every day, and I go through Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse every day, and unless you know where to look you have a hard time spotting the oil fields at Prudhoe, while the area in question to drill in ANWR is a flat nothingness. There are additional factors, based upon the way that oil drilled on American soil is distributed in a global market structure. Just because it is drilled here doesn't mean that it is sold here.
