oh my God, my throat is hurting already before the interview begins. i love the horses so much. thank you God for ms. pickens. dearest girl to save our wild ones. my buckskin acts scared to death when he sees my little american flag billowing on my truck anntenae; he knows about our blm gov't murderers too because he's not scared of flags.

Madeleine, what you are doing may be all that we have left of our wild horses and burros. I can only imagine what a world this would be if we all just had half the love and concern of animals as you have shared here and of yourself. It's so hard for me to sleep at night knowing that every 5 minutes a horse is slaughtered. I have never seen a horse in the wild but have owned horses for 51 years, I would hate to think that my grandchildren would miss this heritage in their lives. Thank you.

Bravo Madeleine! You ROCK! She has a heart as big as all outdoors and could be doing anything else with her time and money, but she puts her money where her mouth is .... for horse welfare!! I strongly urge, implore, request that Madeleine put her full force and resources behind the federal bills to prohibit horse slaughter for human consumption: US S1176. Opponents use their funding to silence this bill. We need MP to fight them at their own dirty game!
