Arrrrgggg No way did you do that. If they put in like that just sit tight for a min then you pop the flag and give a honk or cluck or two and watch what happens. Sometimes nothing but its happened to us twice this year and both times we got them to pick up and put in right on us.( When they pick up get on the calls hard) Dont educate them to be so dumb they wise up fast
I love you internet goose hunting experts, I've been goose hunting before you were a twinkle in your daddy's eye and I've probably shot more geese in 1 season then you'll shoot in your lifetime. We don't kill 500-800 geese year in and year out by not knowing what we are doing. I guess your momma never taught you that if you don't have anything nice to say to keep your pie hole shut!
