I got the 1920x1080 screen. I like it, but when i play games online, they come all messed up. For Example, the video appears smaller than the frame!

@chumanchu98 I downloaded the game off the Minecraft website and ran the .exe, seems pretty hard to stuff up if you ask me

@itsNerdZero Anyone thinking about buying one of these laptops should be aware that you CANNOT use the most recent ATI drivers from the ATI website. Instead you have to depend on HP to provide an updated driver.I have a DV6 with an i3 and an ATI 5650.The last driver update was December 2010.ATI have released 12 updates since then.This is just my own personal experience with a VERY similar laptop from the same company and as far as I can find there aren't a whole lot of solutions.

@pharmaecopia5 oooooorrrr you could just do a clean vanilla Windows install, then reinstall all the HP stuff you want, thus allowing you to use AMD's drivers instead of having to wait on HP. You didn't look very hard at solutions my friend.

@itsNerdZero Its consumer info that I gave on a video review of a laptop.I didn't ask you to solve my problem because thats not what the video is about. The main point is that I (or you for that matter) shouldn't have to search for days for a solution or do clean installs just to download some drivers.

@pharmaecopia5 There's a pretty good chance in my opinion that if you go to update your drivers, then you're probably aware most people do Vanilla installs after they purchase the machine.

Can someone tell me if this laptop is worth the 600 euros? I'm interested in buying one but there are too much people who tell me that HP's latest laptop models all have problems and require service in the first couple of months. Is that true? Should I but one of these or not?

@vlecka I haven't had to service the dv6 in the time period I've owned it, although I am aware older HP laptops do tend to stuff up more often.

@GeneralSordon No, the touchpad was working, the light around it was off but i fixed it now, i had to press "fn + space".

Ow and this laptop os BEAST!!!

@BUBBLYPICKLES i was gonna get mine from dick smith except i found the same model for the same price with 2gb of graphics instead of 1gb and a slightly faster processor 2.2ghz isntead of 2.0ghz i got mine at jbhifi

I have a similar model to this, the only difference is I have 8gb RAM and and a 640gb Hard drive. Despite all the negative aspects (there aren't many at all), i think it is an AMAZING laptop.
