I am from Germany and I wanted to travel to Nigeria last year (for holiday) - but we thougt it was too dangerous. There also is warning from the German embassy to go there if not absolutely necessary.

So sad - such a beautiful country - Scammers and other criminals in my eyes don't represent this country - but they ruin the countrys and its hard working peoples' reputation all over the world. Nigeria could really be a tourism-paradies without it's minority of criminals.

i am US born to igbo nigerian parents. most of the time i spent was in imo state (owerri), and port harcourt. i miss port harcourt! love it!
