That's actually a myth, I believe Lithuania is the country with the worlds highest suicide rate with 38.6 Suicides per 100,000 people per year.
The country with the second highest suicide rate is Belarus with 35.1 and Russia has the third highest suicide rates with 32.2
Sweden's suicide rate is 13.2 Suicides per 100,000 people per year.
