This is a clear CLEAR demonstration of the danger of mixing low intellect + religion + fear speak. Whether you like Schaeffer or not, what he says is real. The Christian right wing will do anything in the name of God or their warped version of patriotism even if it means the downfall of the country., They are dumb, easily led and have ZERO reasoning skills. It's sad but, there's SO much money to be made from it right Glenn?

I've noticed since the right's recent downfall, that there is a difference between the left and right, with regard to patriotism. While liberals were not in power, they still loved their country, and did their best to ensure its success.

On the other side, as this guy demonstrates, the right wing would rather see this country burn than support a liberal government. Because of that, it's going to be difficult for America, with half its citizens acting as enemies of the state.

There are people that get radical on BOTH sides, not just the right.

All of us need to use common sense and stay true to our morals when uncovering information on sites and in the media.

I live in San Francisco and have seen a fair share of Prop8 protests, and AnitBush/War marches. I have also been to townhall meetings and tea parties in Texas. For the most part they are civil on both sides. When the news cameras come around and focus on the extremists is when the story gets a misleading perspective of the gathering. The talking heads then put more spin on the events. Thats the reality of these events and to say that the left is more civil then the right is an illusion.

I wish I could afford cable so I could watch Maddow's show. I might have seen this sooner thus using it to assess the first of now TWO threatening messages I've received on Twitter. By fluke (and someone's posting this in a forum), I saw this and that tipped it over the edge for me. I sent cc of the tweet to various authorities/folks w/more expertise in this than I.

This 2nd message I got concerned me because it was not so much directed at me but seemed to almost be directed at the President.

If you have itunes, you can watch her daily podcast. We don't get NBC or FOX news in Canada (but strangely enough we do get CNN and BBC world news...) so I watch her show on itunes.

I just checked a map to be certain. I live in Canada and I get FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, etc., with a TV antenna. With satellite-- all the above and associated news channels plus CNN.

Are you certain you haven't accidently de-programmed your cable/satellite receiver?

I'm not quite sure. I just know that no one I know, including myself, gets the American news versions of any of those channels-only CNN. We have those channels, just not with the American news line up with people like O'Reilly or Maddow or Olbermann. But we all have basic cable or cable stolen from the neighbours; not intentionally of course.

Maybe you live closer to the boarder than I do and that's why your antenna is picking up American news stations?

It's about time someone said it out loud -- Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck and Fox News can play innocent, but it's obvious that they're either insane or have nefarious intent by stirring what they know is a pot full of violent and crazy. What they're doing may not be illegal, but it's certainly amoral. More people need to stand up and say enough is enough!
