The only people Gaddafi attacked was groups of terrorists. He GAVE UP his weapons program when the US asked him nicely (I guess asking people nicely does work). Those rebels (AKA terrorists) in Libya were in the minority, the majority LOVED him and supported him. Read up on the 1.7 million people who showed up at Green Square to protest NATO bombings and support Gaddafi. How can you blame them? He gave them free water, free electricity, free healthcare, and free education.
