I tried to blow up a 301 pontiac in a car going to the scrap yard. It would free rev with no load forever without blowing up. didnt have enough power to hurt itself. it just ran better cause all the carbon blew out. I just sold a 454 truck 2 bolt for $600

Hugoton Kansas, there both old irrigation engines they ran for 8 or 9 years wide open all summer. One dropped a lifter, the roller came apart and scattered everywhere, destroying the cam. Not sure about the other one.
