Thanks for the response. Is the GT/CS exhaust any louder than the GT's? I test drove an 06 GT and the 09 GT/CS I got, and it seems the GT/CS's is louder. I can't tell if it's a stockish looking aftermarket one or not.
I believe the stock GT exhaust and the GT/CS stock exhaust are essentially the same except for the polished, rolled tips. Either one will have the Ford logo and some parts numbers on one of the flattest sides. If not visible from underneath, doing a flash photo with your P&S camera should reveal them.
It seems to me the sound level should be about the same on both. The character of the sound might be different because of the rolled tips intruding into the exhaust/sound path.
In ordinary driving there is a bit more noise than stock, but no "drone" in the sense of obtrusive, objectionable sound. I wanted louder because I'm kind of a "drive by ear" guy when it comes to down-shifting and all, which was near-impossible with stock mufflers. These are better, but I'd still like a little more noise to judge RPM by. I wonder if I could fit the 2010 intake-noise "enhancer" to someplace near an exhaust outlet?
Actually i'm lookin for an axleback for my bullitt, the stock muffs are too quiet!!! I think these would be a nice step up without bein too obnoxious. Sounds good, especially when you hit it!
Loud enough that you can hear them at cruise, but they don't interfere with conversation or music in normal driving.
If you're looking for LOUD for a GT, this is probably not it. They were too loud for me on a V6 convertible; not so much on the V8 coupe, where they suit me just fine.
This is THE sound!!! GREAT!

Awesome sound and great video. I just got an 09 GT/CS- how would you compare the sound level of these to the GT/CS exhaust?

@mkthree92
Just a little louder than the stock rolled-tip mufflers, no drone. Not "LOUD", but louder.

@fsheff0 This was the video that made me aware of this exhaust, and now I got me a set of GTA's on the way. Can't wait! Thanks for the info.

Good job. Nice demo. Any drone inside the car?

Great video to demonstrate the exhaust sound of your v6. Better than just setting a camera a few feet behind the car. 5 stars!

It's a V8 - GT/CS - with the M-5230-GTA mufflers in place of stock.
