Ahhh I love this so much it's so beautiful... they were showing it on TV every night, but then they cut it off before it was finished and started showing the Melancholy of Haruhi whatever... and then they cut that off and started showing Sola from the beginning again x_X

imo, the whole fighting concept made it sort of more shounen. It would've definitly made the top of my list if it was just pure story love/tragedy. It's like I know the combat might've appealed to a greater array of audiences, but the whole 'my sword shines, she has kungfu skills' doesn't really do anything to the story.

sora means sky; in japanese the ra character sounds like a cross between ra, and la. Somthing like rla, lol. But most americans can't pronounce it so they the roomanji for it is usually ra. I think the creators went with la this time because sola means alone in spanish. Sky and lonliness are big themes in the story, =p
