I'll say it again. A good bone section playing fanfares is better than any trumpet, tuba, or percussion section. the instrument is so dynamic. It can be played with stiff articualtion, yet it is just as easy to play smooth. The usable range for most adept players is so broad that it opens so many option in terms of fanfares. Baselines, melodies, harmonies, you name it and just about sounds natural for a good trombone section. Good job A & T.
WOW.....looks like NCAT's Freight Train really studied the clips of SCSU's Amtrak when the 101 battled NSU........I'm sure Amtrak was very flattered to see that you copied a little from them.
@FreakNasty0814 Sir or madame you need to stop letting your bias cloud reality and keep you in denial. That last part of what A&T's section did was an exact copy of what the 101's section did to NSU earlier in the band season. I know you thought your guys was doing something unique, but they weren't and they didn't. As you were told by someone else, "Go back and look at the NSU/SCSU Trombone batte" in their brawl this year. After you've done so, then you can pick your face up off the floor.
Those soloist were awful..
