I think that Letoya was the cutest when they first came out. Beyonce got pretty after she got those eyebrows beat into submission. -- Man... I look at Letoya and Latavia and fell sorry for them. Not because of DC3, but because they lost out on one of the biggest opportunities of their lives (to no fault of their own...looks like Kelly Rowland eventually saw the light) But still... it has to hurt seeing that group blow up so much without them. Destiny's child was not the same without them.

What kind of manager decides since one member has a high fever they will just drop and replace her with the choreographer? I think that Toya and Tivia are better than Beyonce. same when you listen Destiny's child old songs you can make voices's differences. Destiny's child was a family group, cuz Kelly, his cousin, manager beyonce's father,hairdresser, dresser, make-up woman was beyonces mother, cousin and others family members. DC3, is not better than ODC would be today.
The harmony back then was AMAZING,
Michelle does not fit into it, that's why you always here Beyonce, and Kelly sometimes, cuz Michelle's voice don't sound right on the tracks, or live....Too different.

i agree, MIchelle has a very unique voice but it does not fit in w/ Beyonce' & Kelly...LaTavia & LeToya's voice worked much better..but it is, what it is.. DC3 is no more & Beyonce' front running

Yall haters need to shut up as someone already mentioned Letoya said it out of her own mouth that when the original group was formed that beyonce and Kelly was first and second lead singers and then toya herself and Tavia was to fill in the harmonies and do the background vocals so haters they were not forced into the background people just love to blame Bey and make her look bad.

Ha! Except for LeToya's botched nose job. The old nose was sooooooooooooooooooo much cuter. Poor Toya. These two listened to them twins in Jagged Edge over Matthew and it cost them. Where are those mannish boys now? Michelle is reaping the fruits of common sense.

I liked the original 4 also, they sounded way better, and their songs actually talked about something a little more then "nasty girl go put on some clothes" or bootylicious b.s like that..Letoya did her thing I give her props, Latavia was doing a tour with a broadway play, I think she was doin Aida for a minute..

All four of them agreed that Beyoncé would sing first lead, Kelly second and LeToya and LaTavia would sing backup. And since Toya and Tavia would be somewhat in the background while on stage, they would be more outgoing during interviews and promos and such. LeToya said this herself, so it's not like they were forced into the back.

In a way it's a blessing for them to have gotten kicked out the group. If they had stayed with DC, Letoya would probably never have had the opportunity to show fans she can sing and has a beautiful voice cuz Beyonce always had lead..thanks to daddy/manager and I'm sure lots of ppl didn't know Kelly had such a talented singing voice until she did her solo project..I have no idea about Lativia..someone said she can't sing.
