Will there ever again be musicians with this kind of talent and originality? When did it go in another direction? Was it auto tune? Was it hip hop/Rap? Was it sampling? With today's tech anyone can sing a song, but not everyone can perform true music.  Guess we didn't know what we had. I tried my best during the 70's to give musicians every penny. Now any computer geek can clear a cool quarter million if he or she is a pretty face.
