  • Napoleon's actor in this is great!

  • can somebody plz tell me the name of this movie

  • @KnoxSUX, I am so jealous... I love Josephine. She is an interesting and kind woman.

  • I am related to Josephine! I am so lucky.

  • why did he came there ?!

  • why are they talking in english?

  • Wow, these women come on freaking strong/obnoxious.

  • When she spoke like that it made the hairs on my neck stand up like a really wierd breeze :S

  • @MyMeatStick1 which one of them ?

  • @homoKaliptus Josephine whe speaks about the chocolate lol

  • Napoleon was 1.65 cm high, average size of mid-European man of his time.

Josephine's mother was former slave btw.

  • Mills&Boon tripe! Congrats system01 for recognising as such. Jospehine thought Napoleon (at best) amusing. Also she was in debt and looking for a 'keeper'; Napoleon could at least balance his expeditures with his revenues. As to his feelings for her, another quote - this from a letter he wrote to her "You have robbed me of more than my heart, you are the one thought of my life. I feel passion strangling me."

  • whats this movie called?

  • any more episodes??

  • "the women there rare;y bathe and when they did it was fully dressed-- all in black"

lol dude, get a new pick up line book!!

  • I read that Josephine was discussed Napoleon at first.

  • They butchered his looks.

  • Josephine seems a more fitting empress than napoleon's second wife maria louisa even though she was of common birth

  • @Strategos300 2002 a tv série

  • i have to agree with ladyfromvulcan armand assante played a better napoleon than christian clavier. Christian is a well known comedian in france and i couldn't convince myself to take him as a serious actor! thats like jim carrey playing napoleon! it just wouldn't work!

  • general born appetite!!!!^^

  • God those women annoy me...

  • Omgoodness. I know this is annoying but can you please post the whole miniseries on youtube? I know it is a lot to ask for but I've been looking everywhere for it and the ones I've seen don't have english translation or subtitles :(

  • someone founded the subtitle for this film?

    I only found romenian/dutch/spanish o-o

  • My name is Josephine :)

  • Napoléon il più grande generale di tutti i tempi.

  • I feel bad for him.

  • why?

  • He truly loved Josephine but she didn't return his feelings so I feel bad.

  • I don't know what Napoleon saw in that slutty single mother,

she use to cheat on him with other officers and didn't love him that much, until he become an emperor and made her a empress, after she saw his power, is when she really started showing some love, but he could get better women.

  • When a woman falls in love, it's cute; when a man falls in love, it's madness. A man doesn't think straight when he is in love.

  • Ouch. But yeah, it tends to be true.

  • @ashmakalaka thats why its so funny! :)

  • That was some chocolate.

  • I love Armand instead of this fool actor come on!please!

  • Christian Clavier is the best fuckin actor to play Napoleon.Napoleon & 300 are best war movies i ever saw.lol.

  • Well, I think Armand Assante played him even better!

  • Hey look out for "Assembly" thats a war movie!

  • OMG, I can't believe this is the way Napoleon met Joséphine de Beauharnais !!!

  • Contrary to what most think, Napoleon was MADLY in love with Josephine- just read any good Napoleon biography. Some bios. include his famous love letters written to her. One letter to his brother stated "I must see her again & press her to my heart- I love her to the point of madness". He ONLY divorced her because she could not give him a MALE heir. At his final exile on St. Helena, Napoleon wrote- "Josephine is the only woman I have ever truly loved- she reigns in my heart and I morn for her"

  • @system01 I think you're right, but the impression I get from the history books is that Josephine didn't feel the same way. It sounds like she was always kind of laughing at him behind his back. Am I just interpreting history wrong? How did Josephine feel about him?

  • @canadarox14 Actually, after considering history books, biographies and view points, I believe that, at first, Josephine didn't feel the same way. She did feel 'amused' and 'afraid' of his admittedly passionate love. However, as the years rolled by, I cannot pin-point when, but she seemed to have fallen in love with him. Not as insanely obsessed as he did her at the initial stage of their relationship. But enough that the last name that left her lips left no doubt as to her feelings or loyalty.

  • @tanabatadays Thank you! It sounds like you've done a lot of research. Napoleon is a fascinating person and his relationship with Josephine intrigues me. I should do some reading on it too.

  • @system01 do you have a suggestion for a GOOD napoleon bio?

i have been searching and need a title for a book

    thanks. it would be apreciated:D

  • 5*****!

    Thanks for posting this!

  • Gracias por subir el video!!!!!!! :D

Adoro la música que suena de fondo, y a Christian Clavier :P
