  • I can´t stop loving him!!! Oh, My God!!! I miss you darling!!!

  • Paul's new wife is a 100% improvement on his last wife! She has 2 legs!

  • this man is a hero:)

  • There is also evedence in this video that it is not paul because when he says he plays left handed instrament Then he dose right handed air guitar and unless you can use both of your hands its not easy to play air guitar with your apposing hand

  • @W3BMAST3ER34 Omg... you really believe that crap? ¬¬

  • @W3BMAST3ER34 I do almost everything with my right hand, but when I do air guitar I use my left hand.I don't play guitar but I've played another stringed instrament with my right hand. It wouldn't feel right if I was acually playing any instrament, but air playing you can't tell what feels right or not.

  • A right handed guitar is the same as a left handed one, just the strings need to be re-strung... oh and if there's a scuff guard (not all guitars have one) then it would be superflous.

  • @TheHUMANIDEE not true. the bridge, tuners and nut all have to be changed as well.

  • I love this man!!!

  • I look at him in his 20s and: "Aww, my dear Paulie, I love you..." and after that I look at him in his 60s and again: "Aww, my dear Paulie, I love you..." And the most important thing is I don't give a shit what other people think about it. He's the greatest songwriter ever, the most beautiful man of XX century (and stil attractive to me) and I admire his personality, wit and charm. If you disagree please don't bother me with your answers 'cause I'll never change my mind!

  • @GreenBaldrick what a sad weirdo you are

  • "It's like a hobby." Dude's the most succesful songwriter in history - has sold probably over a billion records, and is a confirmed multi-millionaire.

  • He's THE BEST <3

  • John and Paul had to travel to the other side of town, to find someone who could show them how to play the the B7 chord. What an effort and world of difference, if you compare that to getting all the information you need with just a few mouse clicks, nowadays. Significant, though, how the latter doesn't necessarily lead to more relevant, interesting music or creativity, at all. Or maybe on the contrary.

  • He is right brained/ left handed this is perfect for creativity. The Right brain is so intuative and creative thats why he can create such simple things that sound so amazing and inspiriing

  • Paul McCartney is a National Treasure. A world treasure, really.

  • the C side :)

  • He's the best looking 65-year-old here that I've ever seen!

  • he sang B7

  • i swear pauls nose got shorter over the years

  • Paul Mccartney is legend!

  • 2:55 ,he looks just like he did in the sixties! That is scary in a (good?) way

  • @albuorkka HOLY CRAP!!! HE DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh man...

  • Might have helped the Lads in their early days if they had learned some guitar scales. :-)

  • @DavePerry2012 They seem to have done okay without the scales.

  • Fxxk I could have taught Paul how to play B7 and I'd have been a great guru instead. LOL

  • Paul: i dont play right handed

    interviewer: right-handed piano?

Paul: ok ya got me there *giggle*

    lol

  • Paul is so hilarious.

  • When he announced he was going to be playing I've got a feeling next, did my sound cut up? I didn't hear any reaction.

  • Paul, you're the best!!

  • I <3 Paul McCartney

  • he is definetly my platonic love!!couldnt be more cute:D

  • Good ole Paul - he must be so tired of the same questions...However Jules is a fellow musician so he seems to like his angle.

  • Ha ha! That remark from Paul regarding "C-side" was really funny. Paul is a natural musician. I think a person like him could write a song, everyday.

  • @ajittffcure knowing him, he probably does

  • "I Can't Stop Playing The Bloody Piano" might be the best one he's written in years. Paul, please bring back your old genius!

  • Super class act

  • Aw he said "I'm playing the bloody piano" And then he bit on his lip. So cute.

  • That's a kinda batty interview?

  • heees incredible!

  • Jools holland as an interviewer is Cool For Cats!

  • i'm left handed!!! i love paul...

  • Paul McCartney reminds me a little of my Japanese friend.

  • ya on my bday! paul did something on june 7

  • when is "I can't stop playing the bloody piano" coming out as a single?

  • I like him better as marilyn manson

  • he's uber-hot. and he changed the world. I love that man. I get seriously slagged for it because I'm 13, but I don't care. he's just sooooo amazing :D

  • @lemypie yeah it sucks how people of this day and age think that this guy is crap. I'm 14, so .. I know where your coming from :P

  • @lemypie

Lol, a 13 year old attracted to a 68 year old man... That's awesome... XD

  • "I couldn't stop writing songs if I try", says Paul. That's what seperate Great men from all the rest.

  • he is just an amazing artist

  • Please don't ever stop

  • Who's the man at the top-left corner of the screen? He's annoying...

  • for some reason i started writing lyrics @ 8, now im 12 and ive only written 2 descent songs

  • @ 11isevil11

That's the path of every Artist. And sometimes, you know, stuff that you think are not decent or good comes out to be great and real Art ;) Be more confident of yourself and keep writing! :)

  • @OlorinVictorsson thanks man, do you write?

  • @11isevil11 dont stop!!!

  • @sangReality thanks

  • Oh my gosh, he's so adorable. 5 Stars, Paul is amazing.

  • For me the songs are the most important .

    I dont judge by appearance.

  • @katrin2801 same, but in this case appearance is an added bonus ;)

  • He looks better now that he's had more time to grieve over Linda. He looks great for having suffered from so much loss.

  • I WANNA JAM WITH PAUL MCCARTNEY

  • Old? He's not old!! You don't get old til after the 70's!! He's awesome and his music is even more awesome!! He has sex appeal out his ears!

  • @Sunriseatnoon lmao.. you don't get old til after the 70's?? you never get old if your Paul McCartney!

  • @Sunriseatnoon weirdo

  • PAUL: oh yeah, really, because i dont play right-handed ones.

INTERVIEWER: well you've got the piano.

PAUL: oh, well, you got me there.

  • the 'interviewer' is a great songwriter musician in his own right-you should know that

  • i love him so much!!!!

    he is great..=)

    <3

  • Pure Legend.

  • I love this man.

  • McCartney his a living legend, 5 stars.

  • @2008einstein2009 You mean Dead Legend

  • "I Can't Stop Playing the Bloody Piano..."

  • A more assertive Paul McCartney

sings: "Let it Be, DAMN IT!"

  • my sister used to call me paul mccartney ..............paul is awesome

  • why?

  • because i look like him

  • @BeatlesPaulMCcartney You're lucky, I sister calls me Sarah Palin...yeah.

  • Paul is the best. He's still got it! :D

  • he sounds like a brumaaaaayy

  • One of the great myths ("muths" Paul would say): Jackson owns the PUBLISHING rights to the Lennon-McCartney Northern Songs, he doesn't own the copyright. So Paul still get royalties from those songs. Jackson earns from things like sheet music and the use of the catalog for commercials. Permission is needed from Jackson's publishing company to use Northern Songs for advertising and also if you want to alter the songs (like translate the lyrics).

  • i love his accent

  • 66 and still fine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What album is he holding?

  • i was here

  • Good 4 u man!

  • i just wanna hug him

  • hes older than my grandparents.

    i still want him. lmfao.

  • I so agree - I love Paul McCartney!

  • @laxlalovee ditto!

  • IT'S PAUL McCARTNEY!!!!

  • It's unbelievable how modest this man - undoubtedly, a sheer musical genius - is in every interview, both when he was young and now, with his legend status having increased year by year in the meantime.

    "I can't stop - I'm playing the bloody piano!" :-D

  • HE'S MINE.

  • 1:54

    soo true!

  • Brilliant..he's still charasmatic and funny

  • when he says hoe down it reminds me of the song rocky racoon , anyone else get that?

  • Paul is just...

    the BEST!

  • Paul's still got it! I doubt he'll ever really loose it though.

  • I actually think that quite a lot written by The Beatles is rather complex, particularly that by McCartney. They often used very jazzy chords and then sequenced them in a way that sounds effortlessly simple and melodic. It's a little like, say, Stevie Wonder who had the same jazz/melodic nack. Lennon's songs were more modal and experimental in a different way - employing drone, raga influences and so on. They captured pretty much the whole range between them.

  • I think the real genius of Lennon-McCartney is that, capturing a very simple melody with a very simple arrangement and still it sounds so good and original, that's as genius as coming up with something really complex and make it work ...

  • "Its got a real Beatles-y sound."

    "Mhhm."

  • I've been playing the flute for 8 years and I think to myself when I see the talent here: "Why can't I write music? He says thing like, 'I just started strumming and this came out of it.' Why can't I" Oh well. I guess I'm not a song writer. I can play almost anything put in front of me, but I wish I could write my own music. Love you forever, Paul!

  • I've been writing music for 20 years now and what I've found is that it's all about emotion - not logic. In other words, the sound of a chord is more important that its name. Use your music theory knowledge to capture / express your feelings rather than using your feelings to come up with a chord sequence...

    BTW, Paul is the Greatest!

  • "people would gather around and ..... hoe."

XD I love Paul to death! he's so funny lol

"Oh great guru, do you know B7?"

  • I love you Paul.

    </3

I'm totally getting a mandolin next.

  • I love you sweeeeet

  • Paul! I cant believe it! u just walk into a shop and u find a Lefty guitar without any problems!? Damn! that never happens to me!!

i bet the storekeeper just sees who just walked into the store, goes around the back, and MAKES a lefty guitar just so he could say: "Sir Paul McCartney bought a guitar in my shop" :]

    Make more Lefty guitars! Puh-Leaseeeeeeee!

  • i've seen some left hand guitar books in a music shop in scarborough but i've also had some trouble getting lefty guitars as well they should make a shop especially for them! lol x

  • He's so cute. I'd love to hug him.

  • You se..this is what the music world is missing now..there will never be another Paul Mccartney or John Lennon..they didnt play music just for money then...bands now only play for a paycheck

  • ye agree. the world now is a finction. Think: formula one: not pilots. Football: not men. Music: NOT THE BEATLES (or stones, or zeppeling, or purple, or jethro). AHH MEN, HOW I MISS THEESE TIMES!!!!! Where are the men?? come on, GET BACK TO WHERE YOU WAS BELONG!!!!!

  • Take solace, my friend, in that their music will always be remembered in their CDs and other forms of media.

  • What I love about Paul McCartney is that he's still his natural self and let's face it, he could have turned into a huge ego.

  • I so agree.

  • omg! he s so charming. love his smile

  • Charming is the word.

  • Paul was so cute in his younger days but now his just a handsome man.

  • I agree, he is now a total HUNK/Fox

  • He's so cute.

  • JessOhhYess80, I agree LOL.

  • A LIVING LEGEND :d

  • "I can't stop playing the bloody piano!"

    lol

  • I Think Paul more genius than John!

    Voice, melody, Verse, Songs.

  • I do so agree. Ditto on all you said.

  • Yes, I agree. Paul is sheer genius...musically, lyrically, instrumentally, etc. Intelligent in speech also.

  • OH GREAT GURU, do you know B7??

  • That album was a victim of the loudness war

  • its it really? that kinda sucks.

  • Wow! What an easy going interview! That guy is seriously asking really shitty questions! Did he ever study journalism and if so did he just buy his degree?! What the hell! Thank god Paul was just so easy going!

  • jools holland is a fine musician more than a interviewer - it's taken from his music show

  • @777i2i he was also the interviewer for the beatles anthology

  • @StephCB no he didnt , hes jools holland. from th e70s band squeeze, hes no journo! hes just got a show in the uk where loads of bands go on.

  • @StephCB

jools holland is a legend and hosts the best show in the world.

  • @BEATLExtremist don't say that - people are going to think you want to do a repeat of John Lennon's death =/

  • ohhhhhh hes such a charmer!

  • Omgss this was on my sisters birthday and 2 days after mine =]]

  • kewl this was a day before mine lol =D

  • aw paul is still handsome

  • Paul looks good; much better than the mullet or donald trump combover he used to sport.

  • pAUL IS A GENIUS AND WILL ALWAYS BE NO MATTER WHAT ANYBODY SAID,HES MUSIC AND VOICE SPEAK BY IT SELF!!!!I LOVE THIS MEN!

  • Jools commented on the 'band' on the record - I thought Paul played all the instruments? So that would make him "the band" and explain the "Beatley" influence ... correct me if I'm wrong.

  • I don't care how old he gets because he will always be one of the sexiest men ever. He will always look great.

  • paul looks better at 65 then john did at 40...paul is a great person not perfect..no one is..but he deserves only good things...that 45 year old cow heather mills her karma will get her..

  • what a useless thing to write... you think Paul dyed his hair, wow such natural color. fuck wad.

  • what a useless reply to my statement...paul probably has more hair then u do...you bald headed janitor..and its true..i have a collection of jon lennon photos from bob gruen taken when in 1979 and 1980 and its depressing because joh looks like he's in his fifties...and for a guy who hadnt worked in yeArs and was loaded it tells me he was miserable..that whole house husband thing was crap..he was hiding in his room doing drugs...

  • yeah, Paul really looks pretty good. John aged way before his time due to the years of drug abuse and smoking. Lennon is my all time favorite artist but as a person, he was no saint. (probably integral in his music)

The comment from uRturdz is just an example of anonymity the internet provides added to the maturity of a 15 year old boy. (i bet he is 15) I also bet he posts a nasty comment in my direction! I rest my case.

  • Lennon stopped doing drugs and drinking period in the last 6 years of his life because of his son's birth and Yoko throwing him out of the house because of his drug abuse. IMO, John was a greater man than Macca because he could easily have written songs and put together albums to please the public and have number 1's (Imagine,Plastic Ono Band) but didn't because that wouldn't have been true to himself. He was imperfect and wasn't afraid to expose himself as such and that is why he's my fave.

  • John is by far my favorite Beatle despite the many character flaws. He was the true artist of the band, though he needed Paul to keep him grounded. Once Yoko took him the other way, his music was never the same. By other way I mean heavily into the Avant Guard scene: bed ins, Bagism, outer space contact, nude album covers, primal scream, strange films, etc.

  • John had flaws, but EVERYONE does. Are you implying Macca doesn't have character flaws? Please, I could take up a whole post listing the many things he's done wrong. The difference was, that John exposed his weaknesses and Paul doesn't, which is why many people consider John to be a lesser man, which is heartbreaking to me. John is my hero and MANY other peoples hero to.

  • John is by FAR my favorite artist of ALL TIME. I didn't want it to seem I was a schlocky Paul fan. You need to have anger and personal demons to make great music (and great art, and to me, music is art). John was a complete asshole I am sorry to say. Read Goldman's biography on him. This book got panned as is it described our hero in a negative way. Other books and interviews confirm that much of what Goldman said was actually true.

  • You would base your judgement of a man based on a few books? The fact is that John was an "asshole" for most of his duration with the Beatles, but he CHANGED. The last years of his life were spent as a kind and loving father who put his career on hold for his son. Forget the peace activism and love music, he actually STOPPED his career for his son. I don't think that was the random act of an asshole, you should reassess your opinion of this man.

  • I love John he was an amazing artist. Do some research on him, youtube videos, books, his lyrics, etc. He was a fascinating man. But, very angry, violent, insecure, substance abuser, wife beater, etc (well documented). These traits defined his music. As for his "father years", he was back on drugs, spent all day in bed, depressed, etc His career was on hold due to writer's block and severe depression. Don't take what I said as an insult to to John, he was a fascinting person.

  • Some people are beyond repair. Peace out dude!

  • I love John but I didn't really like it when I read what he did to Cynthia and the things that he said about his first son.. No one is perfect therefore we have to learn John even with his flaws!

  • ****learn to love

  • absolutely! John was amazing. (still is)

  • i disagree with you. i think john is seen as the near flawless, godly one and paul is seen as sappy and filled to the brim with career-mistakes etc. in reality, neither was ever as great as they were as a pair.

  • You would be right, in that after he was assassinated, John's many fans idolized him and forgot about his mistakes and many people just think good things about him (which is cool because that's how it should be with everyone who dies). But, while he was alive, John would admit to his many insecurities in public or would be honest (and sometimes rude, but hey that's the way it is) and some people saw him as mean and cruel as opposed to perfect goddy Paul.

  • I prefer his music when he was with the Beatles..

  • wow he looks really good . hes a legend, right next to ringo, george, and john.

  • i love paul

  • he seems to kind of not really know where he is. holland, i mean.

  • wow !!! hes so sweet lol xx

    bless him xx

  • hahahaha he's halarious

  • paul is super cool

he is one of the coolest guys ever

  • i would great if the the duet with kylie was up, DAM, someone get the hardrive out of their dma vito, lol.

Guys a legend no mistake and he just keeps on going and going. I must admit to not being a big of of his solo work, but some of the stfuf he did with wings is amazing

  • that audience sucked.

    they didn't get any of

    paul's jokes rofl *rolls eyes*
