Raymond Lam happens to find the diary and can kind of "connect" with Bernice Liu, and understands her sorrow.

It is known at the last 30s of the MV that Bernice Liu, when leaving the house, dropped her diary and bent down to pick it up. At that point, she is knocked down by a car.

At last, Raymond Lam also left the house.

Bernice Liu keeps a diary which she left behind in the house. It actually talks about the obstacles and hardship Bernice Liu faces in her lovelife. (I think she just broke up with her boyfriend, and has a dog to keep her accompany) She pens down all her sorrows into the diary.
