salam o alikum...... well i am not sure about the idea of PEER please can some one tell me that is it acceptable in islam to become a peer and then ask people to follow him and is is acceptable to follow some peer as it is commonly known as PEER PARASTI and if it is so please give an example from the lives of sahaba or tabaeen or taba tabaeen or any authentic saying of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) or some Quranic verse. thanks
@raziakbar look yaaar.......peers are called wali of allah it means allahs friends..in the quran it says that qayamt kei din allah kei wali bhi shfaaat kerwai gien.....n u saying in teh lives of sahab were there peers..so listen then sahaba r bigger than peer.....we have peers nowadays also...yaar if any11 says to u that u ask help from peers then just say 2 him ya cauzee allah can help us directly bt he doesnt n these peers r allah freinzz so tehy become a waseela ok.... wana know more do ask
U shouldn't question Sufis and Peers because undoubtbly they are higher than us and we can never match their status. If true love for the holy prophet Muhammad (saw) dwells within us then when somebody especially a Peer or Sufi tells us abt the Holy Prophet(pbuh) then we can understand anything abt them whether its in english or another language.
May Allah Grant all the Great peers and Sufis Jannat x Ameen!!!
i respect the real pious peers, yes, but what im saying is that they should talk clearly and keep the talk to the point. and dont say that "we shouldnt QUESTION sufis or peers", i mean if these peers are going against the sunnah and quran, then we can question them and reject them.
Im sorry but i disagree... this peer sahib i have been to see many time. He properly explains everything and I have never left confused. And he does not go against sunnah or the holy Qur'an..
Why do these sufis and peers never make any sense. i mean why complicate simple things, twist them around and around, say the simplest in form which are difficult to understand. Religion is easy, and so they should say it clearly too. And keep the talk to the point, no need any philosophy in it
Coz their talk is meant for intelligent people with brain. We understand it clearly and enjoy listening to sufis and peers. You need to use the heart(qalb) more than the brain to understand their talk.
ok, so u say that u listen with heart rather than brain. so tell me what did mansur hallaj mean, when he said: "Ana al Haqq"- I am the Truth. Or what did Bayazid Bastami mean when he said: "La Ilaha ila ana, fa'budu lil"- There is no God but I, so worship me. These 2 are your "greatest" sufis, do you even know anything about these 2, since your "claim" to be a sufi.
