I think the Seven Pounds represent, as in the Merchant of Venice, in which a debt was paid with one pound of flesh, the "debt" of Ben Thomas killing in the car crash. Seven Pounds, Seven lives. That's the way I see it. Great movie by the way!

Some people get really upset about the scene where Ben calls Ezra and taunts him on the phone. Well, if watch this movie for a second time, you will understand that Ben had to taunt Ezra to see what type of person he is. He wanted to make sure his(bens) most prescious assets would go to the right people of his choice. Ezra was one of those people. He wanted to make sure Ezra was kind and "slow to anger". Truly touching scene and AMAZING movie!

It needed something more to it, not guns and action [ which wouldn't have been to bad] but something that would have got you really into it, and sit you on the end of your seat.
