Finally, I found hope in modern music. Music like this lasts unlike most of the crap that comes out today. The mainstream stuff everyone likes gets boring in a month. This is the kind of music that sticks with you. I honestly couldn't think of a better combination of talent. Listening to this group is kind of like a cool, grey background, and it's really cool at first, then just when it begins to grow redundant, the soul of John Paul Jones bleeds through at just the right times, man. That's what I get from this band. One problem, really, too much staccato. He killed for pleasure and punished civilians who were defiant by removing or destroying their genitalia in public with swords. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Knowing Josh Homme(the singer), it's probably just for kicks. Sometimes it's hard to decipher the meaning behind the title, this makes it more interesting though. Hope this helps.
