There was no evidence of abuse what so ever. The boy claimed he was beaten all 5 days before he shot Tim Romans and his own father.

Now if that were true, wouldn't the child sustain bruises and/or any other type of physical evidence of abuse?

Further more, the child admittedly planned the murders, claiming it was a "cry for help" for the alleged beatings.

Clearly he has mental health issues, and is a danger, not only to the general population, but himself.

Lock him up -- Throw away the key.

if the boys father abused the boy sexually the father than the father derved it but if thats not the case the boy should be sentenced to dead by lethel injection

IN my village, we would classify the child of being possessed by a demon, no child in their right mind would cause harm to the people who birthed and raised them. Otherwise boy deserves to be stoned for 3 days and 3 nights and cast out of the village and never to return.

This shows again that USA isn't a civilized country by all criteria that count. In my opinion death penalty excludes is one of them, another how you treat your children. If you had a tiny thread of moral fiber you wouldn't even consider to trial an 8 year old... This is despicable.

And being one of the richest countries, you have a infant mortality rate higher than cuba.

The boy was just doing what his daddy taught him-to kill. The only difference it was not a deer. Of course this could also be a horrendous serial killer when he grows up. It always starts off by killing animals, which his daddy taught him to do.

The boy is not at fault. The Dad had it coming obviously. An 8 year-old boy is not going to kill his father unless he was being sexually abused. This is a tragedy beyone all tragedies because this poor boy is going to be mentally scarred the rest of his life. I feel so bad for this outstanding young man. People should be ashamed of themselves for taking ANY position not aligned with the defense of this very vulnerable young boy.

I can't stand every time I see this on the news. This is the talking all over Arizona.I don't think this boy committed this crime. Sounds more like the police put words in his mouth. I keep wondering how in the heck an 8 yr. old can hold a riffle that big to shot someone? Now they claiming 10 shots were fired. Oh c'mon...get real! People are already judging this kid. There was not a parent or a lawyer to be with him when the police made the arrest.
