Although Terry is gone and Peter left I still think Chicago is awesome. I think Terry was a bigger loss because the heart of the band was gone and their direction (for better or worse) changed drastically. With or without Peter (although I love Peter Cetera) the band is still amazing. That horn section is insane!! Great band!!!
Although Peter will probably never appear with Chicago on a concert stage again (unfortunately), I hope he will appear when they are eventually inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as they should have been already. Millions of records sold, countless hits, great musicianship, and still not there? Peter Cetera is awesome.
Go google "Peter Cetera autograph" on Youtube and witness first hand what a hyposcritical asshole Peter Cetera really is and watch how rude he is to a fan seekinbg his autograph.Cetera is also a closet bisexual who has been having sex with other rockers such as Bobby Lamm for decades.
@cetera06 Peter Cetera loved it when I joined him in a gay circle jerk and squirted my creamy load of cum in his eyes and all over his plastic surgeoun repaired sixty five year old face!
I think your problem is that PC simply doesn't give a horse shit about your little cheesy dick squirting your old fishy cum on his face. Oh yes: frustration comes in many shapes and forms, wouldn't you agree?
COME ON: how often did YOU have to tell people that you had "no time"? I'm sure more than once, just like everybody else. And would you consider yourself a "hyposcritical asshole" for that reason? Ask yourself...
@yourdickis2limp Haha. Your channel is non-existant. I knew you were the one posting the autograph video and signing up for other accounts to write perverted shit.
I don't know what he is talking about he was HUGE after Chicago! Glory of Love and Next time I fall AND "Stay with me" are some of the best songs EVER!!
hes a musician so he thinks melody but people in the public seem to be fixated on lyrics I know a guy who couldnt listen to the soundtrack to ryans daughter which has beautiful melodies but no words.
Terry Kath got out of the band,in a different way? What,Peter. a tragic accident that changed the course of Chicago's history and the band as a whole. I like him but he said that kinda weird!!!!
I started playing bass in high school ( early 70's) and Chicago and Pete were my favorites. Not only was PC the best but as a fellow polish bro who digs polish weddings, polka bands, and like his dad I never refuse to dance a polish hop. Cetera Rocks still! 40 years later he's still the best!
I loved seeing this. Peter rarely does interviews and is a very private person. It was nice to see him talk so candidly and do an in depth interview. Thank you, Peter, and thank you INNERVIEWS. The man just gets better and better.
Viva Cetera! Love when he discusses forgetting his own name when he met Sir Paul. Once at a Chicago concert I was directed to an alternate ladies room. On the way out, my friend and I literally bumped right into Peter Cetera as he and the rest of the band were coming in the back entrance of the building. I was flabbergasted and started walking backwards but facing him and kept saying "You're umm, you're um". He laughed and said, "Yep, I'm um". patted me on the arm and kept walking. What a man!
HA! I keep telling people that I hear the music FIRST, then, sometimes I pay attention to the lyrics. The melody is what makes it memorable to me as well. Yeah, someone agrees with me...and it's a BIG someone too boot!
I'd assume so...Their daughters are cousins. They were married to the Nini sisters as everyone knows at different times. Robert married Julie in 1976 and Peter married Diane in 1980(?)
Thanks carina2244. Seem to remember that Peter was married before Diane and they split up in 1968. Her name was Janice Cetera. Don't know if I read this on a youtube post, i.e., " when he dumped Janice in 1968 for 17 yr old Diane Nini," and then there was another interview when he said two failed marriages were enough. Am guessing that's why he didn't marry Senna's mother but who knows? Janice Cetera is a hairstylist in North Chicago(?) but who knows that, too. Just know he had 2 marriages.

Chicago lost a big part of the musical talent, loosing Peter was a big mistake for the band, same think loosing Danny Seraphine.

Peter being such a legend keeps his feet on the ground. many in his position would think they are demigods or something like that! Great interview!

Pete seems a really cool person with a unique personality. He is super talented, and knows it, but it a kid sort-of-way. Love ya Pete!
