Ho sempre giocato sempre e solo per il multi ai TW, le campagne le abbandonavo sempre perchè ripetitive e comunque meno complesse a livello strategico di altri giochi a turni. Un giochino indie come Hegemony ha una campagna di gran lunga più avvincente e competitiva di quella dei TW

WOW this takes me back to a game on playstation 1, cant remember the name but it looked just like this same graphics, i would have loved this game in the late 1990s, but in 2011 the company that made this game wasted a lot of money, they need to aim at the total war series which are Sega, so the console of sega is dead, but through there games the spirt lives on.

It was originally meant to contain only the strategic part, but they made something which was, by that time, completely revolutionary: a 3D battle simulator. How about that?

@lordvivecjjj poi,io ho amato la serie TW però da empires in poi è diventata una porcata ingiocabile,e ti do pienamente ragione che oggi non ne vale proprio la pena di buttarci i soldi.Riguardo "Real Warfare",diciamo che vale lo stesso discorso per tutti i giochi prodotti in Russia: i russi fanno dei buoni giochi, belli e originali,purtroppo tendono a venire meno sul comparto tecnico (mi viene in mente Stalker, gioco eccellente ma pieno di bug).E riguardo quel video,è allucinante!

@lordvivecjjj Si il gioco ha dei problemi tecnici su alcune configurazioni di macchine, ma li stanno risolvendo, praticamente è stato fatto da 3 persone; pensa che io gli faccio da raccoglitore e postino dei bugs perchè ho un contatto skype diretto con la Unicorn. La versione 2 ha davvero un grande potenziale di sviluppo, hanno in progetto una versione sull'intera mappa dell'Europa Medievale.

@lordvivecjjj 35 anni ormai; quelli della Unicorn sono Ucraini anche se la 1C è russa; li ho conosciuti giocando nella lobby di XIII century, dato che partecipavano anche loro. Dato che il gioco mi piace molto specialmente in multi, mi piace dare una mano a farlo conoscere (gratis :) ). Dato che è una software house piccola tengono i rapporti con i giocatori molti diretti, però dato che sono ucraini hanno difficoltà a stare al passo con i portali esteri, per cui io gli faccio un po' da tramite.

hey thanks for posting the vid! I 'm a huge total war fan (been playing since shogun 1) but this game has been drawing my attention recently. I gotta ask , what makes it different than medieval 2? Also I believe in giving everything a chance so i'll probably try it anyway, I 'd just like your opinion on why this would be a good alternative to total war :)

@paulorosas18 Well, the Total War series have been pretty fail since Empire. They are always buggy as shit when released, and focus more on development of graphics and looks than on AI and actual content. Of course this is the work of SEGA and their dead lines, but it's actually a positive thing that a series like this one comes along and challenges the monopoly that TW has over these kind of games at the moment. Think about that before you verbally defecate.

@paulorosas18 Why? Because you are paying for a FULL-PRICED GAME when it's flawed and buggy, like a BETA. Buying video games at $60 per game isn't a privilege, it's spending your hard earned money to get a finished good in return. It used to be that games barely even had to be patched after being released, but developers are getting more and more sloppy since the internet has started to play a bigger and bigger role. And not only that, now you have to pay for DLCs to essentially patch your game!

The fact is that SEGA/CA can feel that they can do whatever they like with their games, since they have no competition in their specific niche. Therefore I think competition among RTTs is a good thing for us customers, even though it's a little weak at the moment. Releasing something nearly unplayable is akin to selling a chair you can't sit on. It's not acceptable.

@Stealthsuit07 Real Warfare 1242 is just a dull plain arcade RTTs. i dont quite sure if this game has terrain bonuses,unit stamina,climate etc. And the game doesnt even apply a little physics. To end this conversation it doesnt deserve to be called a rival competitor of Total War Series... instead its worth to be called Nuisance Copycat Game enough said..

the enviornments and atmosphere are more detailed and better than medieval 2 i truly believe, so is the variety. Medieval 2 total war isvery fun too though. Bigger game a little less detail vs smaller game more detail.!

Barbarians charging the romans in perfect square formations...

@mitraITA not shooted, it is shot. The total war series has been renowned for the best strategy game of it's kind. it was originally a hybrid of turn based and real time strategy. It has sold millions and it's communities are very good.
