  • This song makes me want pink pedal pushers...

  • OMG i love this song :)

  • I like this r&r song by Carl better than I do his "Blue Suede Shoes", the only song I knew Carl for. He only had the one major hit which conflicted with the Elvis version...of coarse in the end Elvis won out? But I was one of them that preferred Carls version, yet they were so similiar, even I scratched my head. This song definetly sounds like Carl singing & no one else. As much as I like this better, I don't like Pedalpushers anymore than I do Brazzier...it's slacks & a Bra 4 me! THX

  • oops..didn't I see a photograph of The Johnny Burnette Trio in this video?

  • This is a faster and more lively version than Carl's re-recording of it on Columbia.

  • Should have been done a 706 Union Sun sound on Columbia Records.

  • different version...cool!

  • super les photo

  • What album is this from?

I have it on an album of his 'Restless' but its not the same recording. And i like how this version sounds too.

    Thanks :3

  • Well I got it on a 3 disc CD called "Hits of the 50's". I could send you the mp3 if you like :D just send me your email address in a personal message.

  • @collareddove7 the album is jive after five

  • @collareddove7 This one of the Alternate versions on SUN. By the time Restless was realeased there was NO more Rockabilly and the original sound was dead

  • when I had this record the title was(Puertorican pedal pusher) I really can't recalled if it was Bill Halley and his comets.

  • Thought I heard all of Carl's sun recordings. This is new to me. Thanks for posting.

  • can you tell me where i can buy this song or could you send it to me please , been looking for it by gene vincent for a long long time not sure if he did or not

    Andy

  • Hey, just give me your email in a personal message, and I will send it to you :)

  • Perkins had a great awesome sound. One of my favorite is also Caldonia which feature jerry Lee Lewis on Piano and Carl on Vocal. Perkins''s Band had some of his brothers in it.

  • A great song from a great cat. But I'd like to make you hear Jerry Lee's rendition of this song.

  • Great to hear but this is a totally different version than the one I bought when it came out (a 45 with "Jive After Five" on the flipside) Any info on where this version came from? Also, it looks like you have a picture of the Johnny Burnette trio in there around 51 seconds in.

  • Great stuff.

  • This song sounds just like Dig Dirty Doggie by the Straycats!

  • Im a big fan of Carls and thought I had every sun track he every recorded but I have never heard this version of Pink Pedal Pushers before. Could you please tell me the title of the CD you got this from as I'd love to get a hold of a copy for my collection. Thanks...

  • I can't believe no one has commented on this one yet. Thank you for posting this Carl Perkins classic.
