LOVE this game. Lost my PS2 copy a few years ago, still have no idea how that happened. Always felt like some mystical game that was somehow years ahead of the competition and still comes out on top against stupid fucking FPS games that people cream their pants over every time a sequel hits the shelves.

Most of peopl who had a PS2 knows this game inside-out, ok, it's a legend.

I can't do justice in describing my love for Shadow of the Colossus. The game is too much emotionally for me sometimes and I find myself not breathing while playing. I actually cried several times, and I've never felt more heroic than playing SotC. And on top of that, being able to discuss the philosophical impact with people about the game and your own life. . .how is that even considered not to be art?

Other than the Crystal engine from Square-Enix, I would say this can come out as 2nd or 3rd. Has some competition from the Crysis engine. But seeing as the gameplay and cutscenes are very closely connected is pretty awesome. Not to mention the entire world it loads was pretty amazing on the PS2. Another reason why I should get a PS3, but not until Sony brings back backwards compatability and fixes it.
