  • i really love the idea of crossfit, functional full body workouts that strengthens not only you bones and muscles, but your heart and lungs as well. i like the idea of camaraderie and forming friendships and bonds with people who you share an interest with. I just can't afford it. The crossfit gym membership by my house is $150 per month!! that comes to $1800 a year, well out of my price range. my neighborhood gym membership is $10/month. Hopefully one day i'll have the money to join

  • @jumar1281 Thanks for the comment. I hope you will be able to join a CrossFit gym too. In the interim, there are many CrossFit workouts you can do at the gym you belong to. That's the beauty of CrossFit. Workouts like Angie or Annie can be done at most other types of facilities. Some people workout of their garage as well.   • @jumar1281 dont waste your money at a crossfit gym, half the coaches are retarded, and teach you the wrong movements. This is from personal experience.

  • @jumar1281 I feel the same. I checked out the Xfit gym near me and the price was about the same, so what I've been doing is Xfitting at my $10/month gym. It works pretty well and I record my times, but I do get looked at like I'm crazy.

  • you can't just hall ass out of a business and into a parking lot with people walking around. Plus if you ever tried to do cardio weight training, you would realize that you will be extremly tired. Plus another thing that this video doesn't show is that you repeat this for a total of 5 sets. I do it every workout and it will bring down the strongest person. Tim Tebow and a lot of NFL guys are doing this type of workout and they appears to be in pretty good shape.

  • I admire girls that do olympic and powerlifting movements and lift heavy. and some of these girls are strong but still have a beachbody. forget those chicks that dont squat, deadlift, bench, or clean.

  • Bear complex is brutal. Also: Forget the haters. Just because it's something different than they do, they hate on CrossFit. Well, I've done both bodybuilding-type split routines and CrossFit. They're both awesome and you I've seen measureable results from both. The keys with any workout routine are correct form, diet, and adequate rest. And if your CrossFit trainer/coach is worth anything, he/she knows this and will not let you injure yourself or overtrain.

  • See I respect crossfit but I still love powerlifting and bodybuilding...the fact that I can lift 3xs my wieght is the best thing ever...BC whn you running you lose muscle and that beats the purpose of workingout.and also crossfitters need to practice Perfect form BC y'all are gonna get hurt

  • @jaylyn3 Yes i do belive it will help you, it will just depend on the intensity of what you need or what your doing like in my case wich is boxing i need alot of stamina, endurance, and power. It just depends what your goal is with these crossfit work outs. To answer your question yes i do belive it will help you out in martial arts at least in the pshsical part. ( P.S. exsuse my writing)

  • @jaylyn3 It definitely helps. We fight hard for short amounts of time, and crossfit is all about short, high intensity work outs. It will make you fitter, stronger, and more explosive.

  • @mycrx89 CrossFit Women are a cut above all others. You're going to need to throw down and rock CrossFit workouts if you want to even get a glimmer of attention from these powerful women. They're not just physically strong, they are smart, emotionally intelligent, goal oriented and oftentimes already attached because they are not single very long and for good reason.

Today's young generation of Woman in the weightlifting Worls to Me is a phenomenon!   • That could have been 50 lbs and its impressive. To Run then come in for a compound movement exercise then run again. She goes hard. She is a lioness over there. Kudos to the trainer pushing her when she tried to catch that breath at the beginning. Keep it up.

  • @valgez1 You know, her racking position wasn't that great, but otherwise this was some of the best cleaning I've seen in a crossfit video. This is the first time I've ever seen a CFer touch the barbell to the midthigh where the 1st pull ends and 2nd pull begins.

  • @davidg1024 I'm not sure, how it compares to P90X. I've heard about P90X, I'm sure if one dedicate themselves to it they'll get results. I'm a believer in the CrossFit community and have been more into real life interactions, then DVD workouts. Thanks for viewing and the comment.

  • @timothychan888 Crossfit has more social support, you go to the gym and you are coached into doing well with others, I think P90X is more of a solitary endeavor. Both workouts are tough, I know a person who went into Rhabdomyolysis from P90X. P90X from the commercials seems to rely more on body weight rather than barbells and weighted wall ball type exercise.

  • @davidg1024 Either one is good as long as you are doing something, but I've known a few people to do p90x and the next set and while they start better than most at crossfit, the still aren't "up to par" and they find their form isnt what they thought it was. I've known a couple to go back and do some p90x workouts not problem afterwards with the exception of some of the things such as yoga

  • @davidg1024 Don't know you, but definitely go out and try crossfit. You won't regret it. P90X is just high rep body movement with some weights which is cool and all, but unless you want to be really strong and in awesome cardio shape you won't attain that.

  • @davidg1024 I've done both, P90X was intense for me at the time (seeing as i didnt workout at all) and now after a year and a half of crossfit i revisited some P90X workouts and they feel like a "light day"

  • @davidg1024 @davidg1024 Most crossfitter I would believe feel the same. P90X is JV crossfit. I say stop dancing around in your living and go to a Crossfit gym. And yes I've done a couple months of P90X. It's not functional nor a full fitness regiment.

    I would say P90X doesn't compare to Crossfit.

  • @davidg1024 My wife has done P90X and although P90 is great, Cross fit is way way more demanding on her. I have her doing some Cross Fit exercises and the results that P90 did not provide cross fit is. She was in a bad car wreck so I can't push her to these levels, but non the less Cross fit is the Shiz.

  • Good stuff right there girl. Thats a dam good total body workout. Start off with the dead cling into a front squat to a standard squat then a push with the legs and a shoulder press. Very nice routine thanks for sharing.
