i really love the idea of crossfit, functional full body workouts that strengthens not only you bones and muscles, but your heart and lungs as well. i like the idea of camaraderie and forming friendships and bonds with people who you share an interest with. I just can't afford it. The crossfit gym membership by my house is $150 per month!! that comes to $1800 a year, well out of my price range. my neighborhood gym membership is $10/month. Hopefully one day i'll have the money to join

That's the beauty of CrossFit. Workouts like Angie or Annie can be done at most other types of facilities. Some people workout of their garage as well. Plus another thing that this video doesn't show is that you repeat this for a total of 5 sets. I do it every workout and it will bring down the strongest person. Tim Tebow and a lot of NFL guys are doing this type of workout and they appears to be in pretty good shape.

Bear complex is brutal. Also: Forget the haters. Just because it's something different than they do, they hate on CrossFit. Well, I've done both bodybuilding-type split routines and CrossFit. They're both awesome and you I've seen measureable results from both. The keys with any workout routine are correct form, diet, and adequate rest. And if your CrossFit trainer/coach is worth anything, he/she knows this and will not let you injure yourself or overtrain.
You ever seen the crossfit athletes? They are cut and still big even with all that cardio and you probably can lift three times your bodyweight once, big accomplishment

@valgez1 You know, her racking position wasn't that great, but otherwise this was some of the best cleaning I've seen in a crossfit video. This is the first time I've ever seen a CFer touch the barbell to the midthigh where the 1st pull ends and 2nd pull begins.
@davidg1024 I'm not sure, how it compares to P90X. I've heard about P90X, I'm sure if one dedicate themselves to it they'll get results. I'm a believer in the CrossFit community and have been more into real life interactions, then DVD workouts. Thanks for viewing and the comment.
@timothychan888 Crossfit has more social support, you go to the gym and you are coached into doing well with others, I think P90X is more of a solitary endeavor. Both workouts are tough, I know a person who went into Rhabdomyolysis from P90X. P90X from the commercials seems to rely more on body weight rather than barbells and weighted wall ball type exercise.
@davidg1024 Either one is good as long as you are doing something, but I've known a few people to do p90x and the next set and while they start better than most at crossfit, the still aren't "up to par" and they find their form isnt what they thought it was. I've known a couple to go back and do some p90x workouts not problem afterwards with the exception of some of the things such as yoga
@davidg1024 Don't know you, but definitely go out and try crossfit. You won't regret it. P90X is just high rep body movement with some weights which is cool and all, but unless you want to be really strong and in awesome cardio shape you won't attain that.
