This sounds like a brighter HHXPlosion (18") that I had. No joke; quality cymbal for sure... Buying one tomorrow, and some SH Rock Hi-Hats. :D

You're thinking of the so-10-years-ago Stagg. I bought a Stagg 18 SH Thin Crash because it was amazing, it sounds just as good (and often better, depending on the application) than my AAX Dark crash. It definitely sounds better than my Paiste Alpha crash (don't get me wrong, the Alpha sounds great, it's just too bright for my taste. Alpha does have some good splashes though).

i believe that's true, but check the price on your beloved pies (wich i doubt you own tbh) ;) triple,if not 4 times the sound.

and stagg has little diamonds of cymbals too if you search for them, not 1 stagg sounds the same, that's the beauty

If you are a serious musician and do care a lot about how you sound don't just take it from endorsers because half of what they say is business. When i heard about Stagg I went to a store and checked them. Their cheapest line the SH sound and feel a mile better than A custom fast crashes...atleast to my own ears and taste. how much did I pay for a 16 SH Regular Thin Crash? US$55

Brand is just a subliminal advertisement. I don't say they are bad but there are some that is better in generic line.

These staggs sound great when hit very hard. If you ride them or soft hit them they sound very tinny.

can anyone tell me if the myra series are durable ? Im looking to get a rock crash brilliant myra 18" But I break cymbals easily. Im looking for something a little less loud and higher pitched than the stagg DH series. Would you reccomend Myra ?

myra is bright and cutting, there like the zildjian z customs, so there very durable. There probobly the brightest cymbals stagg make

Stagg produce only rock crashes for the Myra and furia series!Only the splashes are medium!

No podés comparar con zildjian! si queres hacer una comparación con zildjian hacelo con los zbt a ver como andan... vos seguro los comparás con los A custom que cuestan casi 3 veces más que estos platos.
