Super Smash Bros on the PSP is possible. I've done it, but it runs rather slow. However, doing frameskip allows you to run it much better. Go to the DCEmu forums for more info!

Well here's the case, modding your PSP allows you to download homebrew and PSP games for free. The PSP games are hella expensive and after a few purchases they add up to the price of another PSP and possibly way more. So even if one of your PSP bricks, it's less expensive to buy a new PSP and mod it again than to buy the actual games.

But well yeah for downloading games you'd probably need a bigger memory card, but 1-2 Gb cards are cheap and easy to find so that shouldn't be a problem.
