There are very very few people who actually make stuff up on the spot on radio shows, and when they do you can easily tell because no one uses complicated multis every line when they are making it up on the spot. Hip hop 101: Originally a freestyle wasn't off the top. It's rapping about random sh*t. It can be written or planned and it's still a freestyle.
