@laxdogg23 they use left foot braking and very careful throttle control to cahnge the angle of slide through the corner, just like a rear wheel drive car, certainly not just holding the handbrake up as hard as they can all the way round the corner. they control the angle and speed with the front wheels instead of the rears

drifting is used when you are constantly sliding every corner in quick succession which i do not believe is the case in this video. the driver slides out the back end WHILE TURNING and not before, so BY DEFINITION it is in fact a powerslide and not a drift.

A car is drifting when the rear slip angle is greater than the front slip angle prior to the corner apex, and the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction to the turn. Its a technique employed through various forms (ebrakeing/handbraking, shift lock, power over, lift off etc) This can be done in ALL types of drivetrain. ie. FWD 4WD and RWD! Its just that it is far easier to do all the differing styles in RWD.

@Kegath 1) not nessesarily high exit speed, coz the difference between ''the smokey way'' and ''the tidy way'' around corners is, that the smokey way gives u usually high entering speed, the tidy way however, gives u usually high exit speed. I'm not saying, that having one means u can't have the other, but that's the common case. 2) u can DRIFT around 1 corner, and still be able to name it a drift. search YouTube for ''The perfect drift'' which shows a drift around 1 corner in a pro drift series
