What is a man Bishop Long's age doing messing around with 17 and 18 year old boys? Forget consensual, how about ethical? How about the moral implications? I think these young men SHOULD be compensated. It's the least he can do for abusing his authority. I am praying others come forward. The people of New Birth need to know what type of person they're being led by. Giving a good sermon and making people "feel" a certain way isn't an argument for infallibility

If these young boys knew better then it would mean the authority Long put on them was not working. Do NOT blame these children so strongly. Everyone does not present themselves as you wish they would. There are many out there abused but will never tell because of people who bash them.

In all of this, Long was the adult. Too many gifts alone can ruin a child. HE should have presented himself better. Guilty or not, this is hurtful for all families involved. The church acts like puppets.
