I'm going to be as respectful as I can when I say this. I just finished watching her Unsung and they showed this video during the show. I didn'r know Vesta had it going on like that upstairs. I was watching it with my dad and I had to catch myself because I almost said damn out loud. Of course, they'll have to add a closing chapter but I hope it will bean additional half hour, for the praise she would receive would be worthy of an extra 30 minutes.

I will never forget Vesta, she sang to my daughter in D.C. and promised her for everytime she came to Wash, D.C. if her grades were godd she would give her free tickets they did an article on her and my daughter Karmen her GPA was 3.57 and we kept in touch from time to time, what a jewel and a blessing i'm so saden of this passing away but know she is with GOD AND I PRAY FOR HER DAUGHTER KIKI BE BLESSED LOVE YOU SO MUCH. The news say she was 48 but Vesta says in a past video that she was 53 as she celebrates her birthday. You all know "Hollywood" they always push women ages back and not the men folk. The video that she says her own age is "the couch with Vesta Willams"

Wow I am very saddened by the passing of Vesta. I have been a fan of this real sanger yep I said sanger since her first debut. She was down to earth and funny as heck. Glad she "came back" sad to see her leave so soon after.
But it's great that we have a great new song upon her untimely death, rather than just having old 80's things to listen to. She and this songwriting/producing team denied ANYONE from saying "Oh yeah, too bad she never did anything after the 80's " So I thank you (Team Vesta) for this upbeat song as her final bow.
It's a beautiful way to remember her.

@stillphil she had 3 more albums in the 90's, and did a cover album in 2007. so she have in total 7 albums in all, yes i agree it's nice to see her with two modern day videos. the other one is called 'somebody for me'.

@hollatchagirl100 sadly it is *EUR is deeply saddened to hear that singer Vesta Williams has passed away. Details are sketchy at this time, but it’s being reported that the singer’s body was found in a Los Angeles hotel room.
The cause of death is unknown. She was 48 Google it =(

@stillphil From what I've heard, an UNSUNG was being put together before her passing. No word on its status, or whether or not it had been completed. Of course, they'll have to add a closing chapter but I hope it will bean additional half hour, for the praise she would receive would be worthy of an extra 30 minutes.
