  • I started watching this just for the football picks :D <3

  • Foster all day 40 bigs ones holla!!

  • I like it ;)

  • I know this would sound really dumb 6 weeks ago but wich two would u start Maurice Jones Drew, peyton hillis, Jackie battle, Willis Mcgahee. Battle and Mcgahee is who I'm set with right now.

  • @Eaglezchamp MJD and McGahee. Tough matchup, yes, but MJD's your best RB and he gets guaranteed touches. Not to mention no Chiefs RB has scored a rushing TD all season so I'm skeptical of any Chiefs RB right now.

  • @Eaglezchamp Agreed with Malk, sorry that you got one minute to set them, but MJD and McGahee.

  • Should I start Jordy Nelson vs Minnesota or Dwayne Bowe vs Oakland?

  • @PimpSlapXD Heh.... 5-6 weeks ago anyone would have figured this was a stupid question but considering how awesome Nelson has been doing, with Rodgers dishing the ball everywhere... it shockingly isn't a bad play at all.

I don't think you can go wrong either way. Sadly at this point I trust Nelson more, but Bowe has been a SMIDGE better over all. My guess though, is that you have another WR or Flex to sit, and start both these guys.

  • Quick question Anquan Boldin vs the Jags or Dez Bryant vs the Rams? Love the vids please keep them going.

  • @TheJaybird16 Dez Bryant.

  • I'm going with Tebow to fill in for Brady and then accept the trade offer that I'm leaving around next week. Someone offered me Antonio Gates and Ryan Torain for Tebow but I'm leaving that trade in my box so I can start Tebow this week then get Gates next week to fill in for Tony Gonzalez and also get Torain for free

  • @235basketball If Tebow doesn't do well, he could cancel the trade. And besides, Gates has been absolutely worthless. I think he has 8 points in game 1, and zero points the next 6 weeks combined? This'll only work out since you won't need a 2nd QB the rest of the year (Maybe week 16/17 depending on records)... but don't be so sure on what to expect from those two guys to get. Gates COULD end up being great, and Washington RB's are kinda random. You losing anything worthwhile on that roster spot?

  • still can't believe you called the 49'ers lions game.

  • Bears and Buc's will definitly be a good game. Idk wether to start Phillip Rivers or Josh Freeman though. Tough going against my bears, but Josh is just doing soo much better than Rivers right now.

  • @allowishus182 Rivers IMO. He's just better, and on a better team, and coming off a bye. Compared to a QB whos been hit or miss this season, and a Bears team that is also on kind of a roll. Who knows what the London fight will do to their internal homeostasis either.

  • should I trade michael turner for josh freeman? my league needs two QBs and right now my two starting QBs are romo and kolb, I have mcfadden on my team but no other really good RB

  • @icebergera Even though you are in a 2 QB league you need a better QB than Freeman if you're going to trade Turner.

  • @icebergera Agreed with Malk. Freeman has been hit or miss, and Turner is just good. See if there's an easier trade to make, or pick up one of the waiver guys. Hasslebeck is unowned in a lot of leagues, Palmer might be worth it, Tebow might be worth it, Kolb sure isn't so if you're wrong you ain't missing much. Hell, Beck might be worth a guess if there is nothing else around, apparently he likes to run in for scores. See whats available for free first.

  • I have Chris Johnson on my team this year, but he hasn't gotten anything this year. He should take the fantasy football disappointment of the year award imo.

  • @crimsonstorm34 He's up there, easily a couple people in each spot though. I'd prolly have Gates as my biggest disappointment.

  • The Dolphins are going to win and so are the Jets. If they both win, I get to keep of atleast one of the cute cats of yours.

  • pure win

  • Dumped the Eagles D for the Bengals :D

Also, Broncos play the Dolphins. Dolphins have Matt Moore. THAT'S why the guy's starting the Bronc's D

  • @TheMaykarLocomotive Romo over Newton? No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no.

  • Well kinda late on this, but congrats on the lions. They played well and won the game fair. But man early on the penalties were just nuts.

  • no way Seattle loses to the Browns

also I don't think Palmer's going to play this week

  • I'd consider Newton over Romo just because he's gonna throw for a million yards and probably run a TD in.

And I hate that feeling where you feel like you're being bold by picking an upset only to look at the line and see you went with the favourite. -_-

One sit/start question for you though. Carson Palmer, Josh Freeman or Matt Hasselbeck this week?

  • This is a really hard week for football picks just because of the terrible matchups. Still I agreed with most of your picks with the differences being; 1. I think your Lions will steal one from the Falcons. The Lions are coming off a close lose and the Falcons coming off a win. Falcons never play well on the road so i got the Lions... 2. I got the seahawks over the browns. Probably hardest pick for me cuz they both suck. 3. Texans over Titans in a close game. 4.Hate the Jets but chargers overate

  • Everyone who isn't American really cannot be bothered with this. Do em if you want but nobody who isn't a yank cares.

  • @mcspikesky I thought they were some Brits who liked football though. The annual London game always has a good turnout

  • @deathbypigx3h Most brits love football(soccer). No brits like US football. Sad but true.

  • @mcspikesky Obviously you're "bothered" enough to click on the video and comment on it.

  • @mcspikesky Oh I'm fully aware of that. Hell, there's a lot of people on our side of the pond who STILL don't care anyway!

  • @mtgxerxes No worries man, keep making them if they're fun. I'll stick to everything else!

  • I have Vick and Cam Newton on the same team. Which do you think I should trade, and what do you think I should try to get out of it?

  • @ScaryBalloons Depends on what people would offer for them. You can either send out a league email saying you're trading one of them but will accept final offers before taking the deal (make people think one is in the works) or browse everyones roster and just try a couple.

Fill for a hole you need. The 'value' is tougher because it depends on how much other people need them. They can each go for top-10 position value, but people will want to trade less.

  • the thing about the bad offensive week was true for me too. This one guy thouh ended up with 181 points. He had Fred Jackson Ahmad Bradshaw Frank Gore Devin Hester Aaron Rogers Mike Wallace and the Packers D. All their RBs got more than 25 so yeah

  • I totally made the 49er's D observation in the comments last video! Where's my shoutout? lol

  • @deathbypigx3h You got it via in-video recommendation ; )

Now I just hope that they don't just play good RL defense, but good FANTASY defense. Those are two different monsters.

  • @mtgxerxes With the remaining matchups, I don't see them allowing a lot of points, which is key in fantasy. They are in the top 7 (tied for third) in sacks. You can't depend on Special Team or Defense TD's, but they do have KR and PR scores, and they have one touchdown on D. They have combined 14 turnovers, which has to put them in the top 10. Throw in the fact that San Fran will probably outcoach any staff they face, and they become a solid fantasy option. Ownership needs to go up to 100.0%

  • It's funny how Matt Forte leads the bears in rushing and receiving. Forte Hester and their D always seem to pull it out.

  • steven jackson, jackie battle, shonn greene, demarco murray, and darren sproles. which 3 to start. =|

  • @plumbst Not Shonn Greene. Steven Jackson is likely to get stuffed a lot, but he's at least a quality player and will get adequate touches. Sproles is worth a start as well, but as far as the 3rd goes.... thats rough. Maybe flex in a WR? Whats on waivers?

  • @mtgxerxes cant flex WR since all of them on byes.....

theres stuff like devin hester, james jones, arrelious benn, torrey smith, steve breaston, jason avant, greg little, etc just nothing really seems consistent or someone i'd really need right now >_>

  • @plumbst I'd toss Hester into your mix of Battle+Murray. He certainly can run one back any game, Cutler has been playing really well the last few weeks, and you know he's at least a qualified player and starter. The other guys? Always scary to fill in a random dude that you know is only there for one week, what would you really expect from them? Its a tough call, and not sure theres a winning pick in there regardless. I think everyone has that problem in week 7/8 at least once somewhere.

  • @plumbst I would go with Murray, Sproles and Jackson. Tough matchup for Jackson but hopefully for your sake he's able to get a TD for you. Shonn Greene is where upside goes to die and Chiefs RB's haven't scored a rushing TD all year so I'm still not sold on Battle, either.

  • Brady has a bye this week so I can go with Hasselbeck or Tebow. I'm thinking Tebow because he's playing Miami can run for TDs and might get a few for passing. For RB I'm kinda short this week I'm starting Hardesty for the injured Hillis, Foster and then Jackie Battle at flex because Lesean McCoy has a bye and Hillis is hurt.

  • @235basketball Hasslebeck vs Tebow, man thats rough. If Cam hadn't been doing so well all season I don't think people would CONSIDER Tebow at all, but its a fair premise. I feel like Tebow would have more potential to put up higher numbers, but it shouldn't shock anyone if he gets hammered. Hasslebeck is playing well in RL, but are they FANTASY points, or just W's?

  • I don't actually play fantasy football myself... But I have been thinking about getting into it one year. These videos are really interesting.

  • @FailedElectrician To be honest, I hated it for yeeeeeaaarrs. Thought it was stupid and a massive waste of time.... and I won't deny it... it still kind of IS all that stuff but I'm having a blast with it all the same. Having success so far has only helped as well.

Its certainly best if you can hook it up with a group of friends so its just a casual thing, maybe some bragging rights, maybe some Pizza on the line, etc. Or if you join a total random league, no penalty to just quit if its gone bad

  • I have Jahvid Best and Peyton Hillis on one of my teams, so that really sucks. As of right now I'm starting Willis McGahee and Montario Hardesty at RB instead, but I have a feeling I don't have a chance this week because of that.

  • @ScaryBalloons Ick thats rough. McGahee might not be a bad start, but who knows how Tebow is going to effect his usage.

Certainly somethign to double check Sunday morning.
