If you have pump gun, then if you don't hold the trigger there's no chance. There's a system of vaults that keeps the pressure inside and prevents flames form going back.

If you just want the thrill of the fire (PYRO!)it is safer just to use an aerosol can with hydrocarbon propellant. I was going to do this without actually seeing it on the internet first and built one (with a lighter out front- STUPID- I WOULD HAVE DIED), but my mum told me it is not worth it (THANK GOD). Guys this is extremely dangerous, many things could go wrong.

i think you fill the water gun with lighter fluid, put foil in the end nozzle so it wont melt the plastic at the end, put a fuse at the end, light it it, pump the water gun, and them you can have fun.
