  • my mom puts achool in my hair to get rid of them and that raid cocroach killer and also lice shampoo.

  • its me 817546, coming back to this video after a year, still gonna come back :) thanks for the useful information and the great sensation of "knowledge" this video has accommodated for me

  • 0:02 lol

  • yeah in elementary i looked forward to lice checks cause it felt relaxing.

  • THE CHEAPEST AND EASIEST WAY TO GET RID OF LICE? ALL YOU NEED IS A COMB, HAIR CLIP, WHITE SHEET TO SIT ON AND BLOW DRYER ON HOTTEST SETTING. LAY KID ON SHEET WITH HEAD NEAR YOU. IF HAVE LOTS OF HAIR, SEPERATE BY HALF. PUT UP ONE SIDE AND WORK WITH OTHER. START FROM HAIRLINE AND USE COMB TO PULL OUT STRANDS OF HAIR TO BLOW DRY ON HOTTEST SETTING. ANGLE BLOWER AS NOT TO BURN HEAD BUT BLOW HAIR ONLY. TAKE TIME TO GO OVER TO KILL ALL LICE & NITS. BLOW DRY HAIR NORMALLY COUPLE DAYS WHEN WASH HAIR.

  • Thank you for this video. I was confused about what a nit would look like but I get it now thanks to this video :)

  • What state was this elementary school in?

  • Wow, good to know that I'm not alone with the whole enjoying lice check days in school! I get my fiancee to search my hair occasionally, but I try not to over do it!

  • When i was in school the nurses use to do that i wish they did it when i moved on from elementry school all throw high school

  • what is this kindergarten? I am just wondering

  • Nurses at overnight summer camps always check the campers heads for lice whenever new overnight summer campers arrives.

  • Wow, I was starting to feel I was a freak for feeling those tingles. Boy I was surprised to find this thread. What then ... are the bunch of us like special ... like "Heroes" people or something? :)

  • @817546 I'm not the only one?? That's exactly why I watch this stuff lol

  • and 1 time i had my hair really pretty and curly and the nurse ruined it and she pulledd out so much of my hair

  • when i was in 1st grade we would read a book and the nurse would come in and check every1 but she used the same brush did not even pull the hair out and1 kid got head lice and every1 was watching she did it infront of every1 but ya the feeling was awesome i would fall asleep i never got lice but my aunts sons friends daughter got it and they just shaved her hair... shes still has no hair but back 2 skool i had 2 stand up and my brother had dandriff and the nurse thought it was lice HOW STUPIED

  • what is that sensation called anyone?

  • @march1001 It has been labeled ASMR ( however, it isn't a scientific term, and I'm not aware of any research regarding it).

  • back in 2004 we had a huge lice problem, and the school asked all kids with lice to stay out of school since its so contagious. and i got it, and i stayed home for a week. i did the vinigar treatment with my mom, and it worked like a charm, but it smelled bad. i finally got rid of it all, and the day i came back the nurse anounsed that she was going to be checking heads for lice during our math session. i was like, u couldnt have done it 2 weeks ago when i didnt know i had it... thanks.

  • i used to have lice and the nurse did a lice check and everybody watched and i was sooo embarassed.

  • @jackieamaz

i had lice when i was 4. caught it from my babysitter's kids, don't know how they got it. who knows how it starts. loved getting the lice checks with the little straws by the nurse back then. would put me in one of those relaxed trance states, lol.

  • when i had lice i mixed Everclear, yes i do mean the alcoholic drink and mixed it 3/4ths with headlice shampoo. this is by far the best treatment. i mean after just 10 minutes with it in my hair every single head louse was completely DEAD.

but i must add that if you or your children/siblings have had them for a while it will itch really bad and you must keep yourself/children from scratching.

  • @Sanzaru123 shit i think after 5 shots of everclear i would be dead too

  • proper hygiene does not prevent lice, in fact, lice prefer clean hair to dirty hair because its easier for them to get around.

  • ahh i miss the good old days when the nurse checked everyones head.

it would send tingles to your head and feel really good and relaxing. the thing is is that other kids wont say that because they always thought it was just them that got that feeling.

  • @Sanzaru123 Absolutely right. This was better than a head massage.

  • @Sanzaru123 Oh my gosh..Funny that you say that..I felt the same way..I just wanted to sit there the whole class and get my head checked..lol

  • @Sanzaru123

yeah! me too! why do you think i searched out videos like this? i need to sleep too you know. lol.

  • @Sanzaru123 when the check for lice i freak!!!!! its feeels amazing!!!! id always tell them they missed a spot lol. i love head massages the only problem is i always fall asleep

  • @Sanzaru123 why wouldnt they check the head now...why did the world change

  • @Sanzaru123 God I wish there were a name for that feeling, I thought I was crazy for experiencing that too. I get it from other situations too, so I wish there were a word for this feeling so I could refer to it. Anyone know a possible name for this?!

  • @Sanzaru123 Oh my gosh! I lived for lice check days. We all had to put our heads down on our desks, and the nurse would ruffle our hair through with wooden sticks. It was SO relaxing and great. I thought it was just me!

  • @Sanzaru123 wow u describe it excalty lolol

  • Proper hygeine can prevent lice very well, but lice checks can help as well, nice video.
