It should be noted that some of the headstones in the film were theatrical props added to the general scene of the set. With one of the shots of a monster hiding behind a headstone, you can see it rock as the monster gets up.
It wasn't a video camera as such, it was a digital camera with a high capacity memory card and that takes video.
The camera was being used for a new website that honours the war dead of Newport by listng their names and where possible a photograph of the individual, their Commonwealth War Grave headstone and any other detail I can find out about them.
You know, the people that died in war to give you the right of free speech and take the piss!
It was The KLF's answer to Star Trekkin' . They meant it to sound this awful . On the 7" record is emblazoned the legend : The Most Nauseating Record In The World .
So security ask for people not to take pictures and you go and take video. Such a shame for those that go and watch filming because they are tarred with the same brush as those who don't respect the wishes of those in charge.
The fact of the matter is that al the attached video was ALL taken before I was asked to stop photographing. I will also let you know I was asked to move my car from alongside my sons grave which was some distance from where they were filming and not a flake of snow to be seen for hundreds of yards.
I will also point out that the cemetery is a public place and what would they have done if I wanted to visit one of thr graves in the middle of their set.
I will also point out that later that day the proffessional newspaper photographers turned up and were climbing trees to get their photo's which appeared in the South Wales Argus on Friday night and the Sun on Saturday.
I had no legal obligation to stop filming but did, otherwise the video would have contained the Cybermen in FULL costume going through their scenes which I watched.
If the BBC need to keep things secret then they don't film in a public place and use the studio's of which they have plenty.
OH and the BBC are NOT in charge of a public place and have completely no authority on me or any other person within that public place.
Thats a fucking outrahe he made you move. you had more right to be standing there then anyone the BBC decided to throw there. yes im a big fan of dr who i luv it but i think its disgusting filmin in a real graveyard. if he told u 2 move from ur sons grave u shud habe hit him.
because one of the security guards said so. Check out the South Wales Argus website for an article about it. I cannot post a link unfortunately because it don't work through UTube.

its not very respectful to the corpses by filming in a real grave yard

Yes, I agree it's a bit weird to film in a real cemetry, but how do you make something that looks as authentic as a real graveyard in a studio

Did anybody see DT in the video? I didn't catch him if he was there. I REALLY want to know if he's staying or not.

I understand that he did turn up towards the end of the second and final day of filming this clip.
I read somewhere that he drove himself to this location.

There's about 280 of them in that cemetery.

I might agree with but I think it made No1 in the UK pop charts a few years back, so who am I to judge.
