Plus it is SUBSIDIZED!! This CRAP comes out of my pay check, and I have to buy more of it because I get shittier MPG, Aaaaaaaannnnnd it gets much LESS POWER!! Take your corn & shove it!
I am a fan of ethanol and have seen its power and tork first hand. I agree you get less gas mileage when using higher blends of ethanol. currently I drive a 2006 kia Spectra on 50 percent ethanol, it is not a flex fuel vehicle yet. I hate the fact that it is subsidized, now that it has proven to be a good liquid fuel they should stop the subsidy for all fuels including oil and let them compete. my vehicle is small enough ware Ethanol is the fuel for me, I want more than 85 percent blend choices.
CNBC is using hypnotic-type programming with the use of all of the neon-animated backdrops. To get a feel for this effect, watch this video in full-screen mode.
Right on! I've watched a couple of David Blume's vids on youtube, and he really lays out why alcohol/ethanol is a premium fuel. We're just doing it oddly with corn.

He says we "need" electrical vehicles. What does he think creates electricity?

Ethanol is NOT cost-effective, as it is NOT energy-efficient. Furthermore, this is going to contribute towards a higher-cost of food.

Big Oil is hitting ethanol via the main stream media.
We can have food and fuel. Read "Alcohol can be a gas" by David Blume, at your Library.
