  • @jstamand Then its not one of these asshole.

  • This spider was introduced to North America to control house pests. It should be welcomed in the home.

  • ちまき状に葉を巻いた産室で卵を守っている♀が特に怖いらしいですね。産まれた我が子に母親が生きたまま食われるという有名なシーンを観察したくて時々ちまきを開けてみるのですが注意してます。

  • glad to meet another spider-lover.

    thx for watching.

as u see, this spider was in captivity for close observations.

he seemed to like the corner of the tank for dwelling.

in the natural environment, this species makes a unique shelter, which looks like a small triangular pyramid, with the rolled leaf of pampas-grass or reed.

i would like to shoot a timelapse vid of the construction next time.

  • your welcome

wow yea i would like to see how the web looks when it is finished

  • Very beutiful spider!

  • beautiful indeed, but roses have thorns.

apart from its danger, the female is well-known for the ultimate maternal care; she sacrifices her own body alive to feed her spiderlings!!

  • Thank´s for sharing man! beautiful little spider and perfect images. It´s great taking a close look to such a small world. Love the music as well, who plays it?

  • i appreciate your encouraging words.

i love the microcosmos of bug's life. they are fascinating!

speaking of music, plz click the link "show audio info" below the player window. u can add a nice soundtrack to ur uploaded vid by audioswap at testtube.

  • Sorry I did not see the link, still learning to use youtube. Thanks again!!!

  • no problem.

i've been participating in the beta test of audioswap.

  • Beautiful little spider, cool music and amazing images as usual!!!

  • female spider of this species has less vivid colour.

and when young, they were blue.

plz check out the related vid of mine titled "sac spiderling - home, sweet home".

  • Colorful net maker, lovely. :D

  • thank you.

this species is not only beautiful but very dangerous.

i've heard that if you are bitten by these fangs, it hurts a lot. its venom is exceptionally harmful to humans.
