as u see, this spider was in captivity for close observations.
he seemed to like the corner of the tank for dwelling.
in the natural environment, this species makes a unique shelter, which looks like a small triangular pyramid, with the rolled leaf of pampas-grass or reed.
i would like to shoot a timelapse vid of the construction next time.
Thank´s for sharing man! beautiful little spider and perfect images. It´s great taking a close look to such a small world. Love the music as well, who plays it?
i love the microcosmos of bug's life. they are fascinating!
speaking of music, plz click the link "show audio info" below the player window. u can add a nice soundtrack to ur uploaded vid by audioswap at testtube.

This spider was introduced to North America to control house pests. It should be welcomed in the home.

beautiful indeed, but roses have thorns.
apart from its danger, the female is well-known for the ultimate maternal care; she sacrifices her own body alive to feed her spiderlings!!

thank you.
this species is not only beautiful but very dangerous.
i've heard that if you are bitten by these fangs, it hurts a lot. its venom is exceptionally harmful to humans.
