  • I accidentally bought Pioneer Soundtracks sometime in the late 90s and it struck me as the most stunning LP id heard in years. I saw them about 3 times at some Brighton indie festival and supporting Lush and Suede I think. I like the way he feigned drunkenness and swung his mic in a massive arc with such disastrous consequences. Perhaps his gestures betrayed his fatalistic acceptance of the fact they were never going to make it on the world stage. But they did make it big in our imagination...
