The Dr. Z amps he uses are great amps. Lately he's been using the "Zwreck" amps which were designed by Dr. Z and the late Ken Fisher of Trainwreck Circuits. I'm very fortunate to live close to where Ken lived and had a chance to play thru one of his amps. The Trainwreck amps are superb! If you ever get a chance to play thru one, do it!
@maphisshredcore1 Really, dude? Everyone knows Brad is great. Who gives a crap about what's going on onstage? You do realize that that's not a real fire, don't you? It's a campfire on the screen and it's there because the song is (obviously) centered on sitting around the campfire. But what difference does it make either way? Gimmicks make live shows more fun; only old cynics wine and cry about them when there's no logical reason.
Its funny, but its all mixed out front these days. The stage volumes are real low, everything miked and mixed out front. Pretty neat to be close enough to hear exactly what he's doing there though.
My buddy Trent Willmon wrote that song. I've played it on tour with him a few times. Great tune. Brad picks great. When I got the pickup gig, Trent gave me Brad's version... So I had to play his parts... Fun stuff.
Outstanding. You're right it woulda been cool to get more. He does such a great job to get the entire band mix right, sometimes its rough to pull out his playing. Saw him in VA
wow that is so cool, his guitar is totally the loudest thing in the mix. it really makes you stop and think about just how good he really is. he's not just strumming whatever, he thinks about every movement he makes and every note he hits.
i'm a guitar player (tele man) and a huge fan of Brad Paisley. this was a great video, thanks for posting it.

Brad is a MONSTER player. I can only dream of achieving half of his guitar talent.

@HillbillyRockstar100 all hes doing is playing minor blues and pentatonic patterns over power chords with added 7th chord barre to sound blues.

has nothing to do with guitar or tone. Put the damn fire out. brad is better than stage gimmicks.

Is that a wall of little Fender Princeton's or something???

they're not even amps, they're just amp cabs with the grills converted into screens. They're Dr. Z 1X12 cabs. It's a cool stage gimmick.
