  • "tickets please...hey stop him he didn't pay!"

  • love this game sadly i cant seem to play it no more

  • I had a monster 3D SLI card back in the day. 4 meg. Hah, those were the days. Playing Heretic and Hexen, on my old Quantex 133mhz, with a 4 gig hard drive, and like 256 ram, or something. Computer cost my parents 4 grand. SO EXPENSIVE BACK THEN.

  • I remember playing this with my voodoo rush 6mbs card which I paid $200 around 15 years ago.....

  • Shity sound... Almost got deaf with the shots.

  • I hate mimes...

    xD

  • still remember how i played the game on my 3dfx voodoo2 and voodoo 5 i thought the games wont get any better then this game it was so detailed :D (for its time) and not talking about Diablo 2 + 3dfx Legendary GLIDE Technology thumbs up m8 :D

  • damn its look so nice and he play with sound and 3 dfx this is a wonder when he play on xp..

  • This game rocks on glide!

  • How did you do that you use a 3DFX emulator?

    Or own a 3Dfx card?

I'd quite like to launch without voodo 3dfx card.

    Will that work?

  • Doesn't look much better than the VESA render.

  • than you must of never played 3dfx

  • Yes, I have and it doesn't look much better. In Fact I Have a Voodoo 2 & a voodoo 4. So I have play many games rendered by glide.

  • @PopcornCoolie Back in 1997 when no card offered antialiasing, 3DFX was totally awsome. The framerate, the textures, the looks. The only thing it lacked (uhm, I guess 3DFX 2 and the third generation as well) was the support for 32 bit color.

We could live with that though :)

  • None of the older games supported 32-bit color so there wasn't 32-bit color yet.

I still remember the days of Quake, Duke match Half-Life & even Doom.

  • Eeeh... correct me if I am worng, but Half-Life & Unreal offered 32-bit color depth.

  • Half-Life & Unreal do. My post was broken up into two subjects for a reason.

  • whats the name of the program that you is using to capture the images? sorry my bad english

  • It's many software programs that capture on screen picture, FRAPS is one of the well known ones.

  • thanks a lot ;)

  • is there a patch for today?

  • One, does it take away that "tilt" thing. Two, can it work with newer vid cards?

  • Eh...so is this run on dosbox? Native Voodoo? Voodoo1, or Voodoo2?

  • Great visuals, what happened to the sounds ? :S

  • windows xp hapend... build games sound does not work on xp...

  • Not true altogether. You can run it in dosbox with perfect sounds. If you google the following words: "build games xp" you find a site where it is explained how to run in even without dosbox on xp, with good sounds....

  • try dosbox

  • reload time ? :DD
