  • Those are 2 Different Scales

    Symetric Diminished (1/2 , W) Scale which is played on Dominant Chords because you have the 4 Chord Tones of a Dominant 7th Chord and available Tensions.

    and

    The Diminished (W, 1/2) which is played on Diminished Chords because you have the 4 Chord tones of a Diminished Scale plus the available tensions.
