Whats the purpose of even having the Hard Rock part if 99% of the bands on this list could be considered Heavy Metal? I would add The White Stripes,Tenacious D, Some Foo Fighters, Green Day, and maybe the Arctic Monkeys I don't if you could call them hard rock but I rock out like a mother fucker every time I hear their songs. take out Muse, Slipknot, Rammstein, Avenged Sevenfold, and Trivium and you have a decent if incomplete list.

@isabarriga dude trust me i know their history in1990 the project for a new band started...1st they was named the pale ones...then they changed their name in slipkont in 19995 so slipknot is orginally from 1995 in 1999 they debuted in the 9 members formation and released the second album IOWA cuz in 1996 they ha released the album MFKR so i know what i am talking about....they should me put on 1995 not 2000
