Well Jared has his Lamp recordings (which I suppose fall into the "not worship, not secular just in the middle" genre) and it's amazing! Check out 2 Days In The Same Place and People of Troy... Good stuff. Also, I love this song so much. So, so much.

fair point.But those Lamp recordings rarely go a distance.Once you're labeled 'Worship' it's hard to switch(which is good,God is a jealous God,right?).The 'Lamp' guys can always make worship and it works(see Bethany Dillon and others).

3) that was a very ignorant thing to say. what do you know about why marty chose to do his songs that way? marty's target audience is different. there are people who'll reject a song that mentions Christ, but what marty does is create music that they'll listen to and that will hopefully raise questions for them, questions to set them on the right path.
