that is true but his contract is up after this season they are gonna make him a huge offer man and he will take it but either way i respect his choice
Dude, the cubs have Aaron Miles filling the role DeRosa played last year. If the Cardinals make him an offer, he'll be back in St. Louis next year. And they're going to make him an offer...
yep but wat i have seen this year miles is not that good of a ball player this year he is batting 176 but we will just have to wait and see in the offseason who knows wat will happen
Hey buddy... the Cardinals have started negotiating an extension with DeRosa. Here's what he has to say about it:
"I'm definitely interested in listening to what they have to say," DeRosa said. "If something could get done quick, that would be peace of mind for me and my family, obviously ... great place to play, great fans, great team, great pitching."
Dude, do you even read the boxscores? Or watch Baseball Tonight? Or how about watch the damn game? He's still playing third base every day for the Cardinals.
Nothing drives me up a wall more than "fans" who don't pay attention to the games. That's what cubs fans do - a lot of them couldn't tell you shit about the team, but yet they're HUGE fans.
Answer this question: Do you watch the games, or if you can't do you check the scores daily? If you don't, you're not a fan.
okay first of all am to busy i have football everyday i do watch games pinero was on the mound yesterday gave up 6 hits and one run and got no support and fyi am not a cubs fans am a die hard cards fan my favorite player is carpenter but derosa is my all time favorite player
Doubtful, but would be nice. I love DeRosa and you really could play him all over the place.
I wouldn't say Aaron Miles sucks, he's not THAT bad, but I like him coming in on some days for Fontenot at second - don't like Mike at 3rd and I sure as hell don't like Freel. If anything I say they keep Fox at 3rd cause he can hit, but he isn't the best fielder on the team and 3rd is hard enough as it is.
Mark DeRosa is a card now

Ha ha ha ha ha! Actually, most people around baseball expect DeRosa to stay in St. Louis. He is enjoying his time with the Cardinals greatly.

Have you read his comments about St. Louis? He isn't shy about admitting he wants to stay. That's straight from the horses mouth.

He has a partially torn tendon sheath in his left wrist. It's going to require surgery at season's end.
