I dont mean to sound ungrateful for these "reviews" but DAMN! This must be the 5th one I've watched and WTF, they just go on and on about meaningless details.

@Scipiz0a The vents are on the back which is why it's completely unprotected. That said, the case of the MBP gets very hot and covering it in leather probably isn't going to help very much.
slight problem that I noticed here. You should put in the back (nearer to the hinge) of the laptop in first as there are catches at the back of the bottom part of the case that latch into the air vent.
does it limit the angle you can open the screen up to? I have an "incase" cover that is similar to this product and I can't open my screen past 90 degrees which makes it hard to view under certain lighting conditions
the gap in the back of the cover is not for the hinge, its where the computer draws in cool air for cooling, so if it was covered, kablammo, you would have one hot macbook pro (not in a good way)
great video Dave, Macally do seem to make some high quality products... I think the only thing I'm not a huge fan of is that it covers up the Apple logo on the lid (which really isn't a big deal), but that aside it looks to be a very nice case/shell.
where did you get that awesome top protection on your mcac book pro? what is it called?

--but then again, if your looking good reviews on this item, Youtube isn't the best place, naturally.
Youtube is just a visually pleasing review rather than just reading text.
If you really want a review on this, then you need to actually research.

You didn't put it on right in the back that's why you have that play in the back corners. You don't have the back tabs locked onto the hinge.
