This was probably the 1st 3Dish DBZ game made, and was pretty damn good back in the day. I mean, considering the time it was made, its was a brilliant DBZ game with alright graphics for its time. To be honest, I still find it entertaining now, just generally fun. Still own it actually, maybe I'll play it again sometime.

It was, if you were a 6th grader, looking at it today you realize how freaking awful this game was. Very sluggish gameplay, hitboxes are ridiculous, Charging Special attacks interrupts the gameplay, let's not forget about the terrible english dub.

@BandakaKush I doubt it. GT Final Bout looks totally slow, plodding and cumbersone compared to the current series of games. They've certainly improved and they even added more characters which add to the variety and the game feels and controls faster without being archaic.

It definitely hasn't aged well, but this game brings back a lot of fond memories. First played it when a friend imported it, along with Ultimate Battle 22 and Legends, way before they got an official US release (Legends never did).

At the time, it was fun, and the graphics were impressive. Now, it's horrendously slow and clunky. The graphics are still good for their time, though.

Ultimate Battle 22 aged similarly poorly.

Legends, on the other hand, is still INCREDIBLY fun.

I loved this game. I had the GT Import and played it with by buddies all the time. Way better than Toshinden. It had blast battles, transformations and a giant boss fight at the end. The first Budokai was weak in terms of new features by comparison and it released on a more advanced platform. This came out in 1997. 3D fighters were only 2 years old at the time.

When this came out in the states, DBZ was unknown to the US and the whole concept of Anime was viewed by only handful of the die-hard fans.
