  • this is awesome!

  • Moi non plus je n'arrive pas à sourire en jouant et je joue moins bien !!

  • Very nice version Zepp.

  • ...what kinds of tunings are used in the style of playing that you play?

  • @mandohiker Quite a few! I rarely stray from a half dozen or so these days, but there is a list of 124 of them on the BANJO-L website. I can't post a URL here, but it's an org: banjo-l Follow the links to 5-string tunings.

  • @zeppmusic thanks... i'll keep that in mind... one more thing: do you know of any banjo makers who's instruments are less expensive? i've a limited budget, but id don't want to go with one of the factory/mass-produced banjos...

  • Very sweet banjo playing, my English grandfather used to play also, sounds great.

  • Excellent playing, the Irish version has a different air, try lorgain2 for Michael O`Sullibhean`s version.

  • Awesome, completely off the hook! Haha, good job, buddy, wonderful tune.

  • I love that tune. That is one of my favorites to play on the fiddle. Great Job on that.

  • Hey Zepp don't forget to smile sometimes:D

  • Oh. Right. Smile. I do know how, I simply forget when I'm playing... :-)

  • Thanks, Zepp. You prompted me to practice from my 'Vintage Banjo' tab book to the version that Mary Z. Cox arranged. I've managed to cause the tune to come out of my banjo not at all poorly now.

That's another fine looking and sounding banjo you're showing.
