The show is much better than the books... and I've read the books. There is no chemistry between anybody in the books, and Elena is not a nice person in the books either lol. Jeremy doesn't exist (and that definitely ruins the story line some) in the books, aunt Jenna is about 3 decades older in the books.... plus she isn't Jenna. I don't know, whoever converted this to a show is a genius. Usually I like the books better but not in this case.

See, the TV series of Vampire diaries just gets me so angry. Why did they make it so different from the books, I don't understand!! I only saw the first episode and saw that they'd swapped Elena's little sister for a big brother and made Bonnie and Meredith the same character and couldn't watch anymore. But this scene makes me not want to watch it even more. Vickie isn't attacked by Damon, Damon has nothing to do with her apart from when he helps protect her in the (4th?) book. Gah! lol
@Mixedia you forgot that vickie gets attacked in the first book by damon at the same time elena is saved by stefan in the cemetery.
